@Dancergrl5jl They are two very good friends! but neil (the one with the black shirt) betrayrs him as he stabs kent in the back... which continues with a fight between neil and kent... althought kent still seems to be protective trying to realise the situation. Finally he returns the betrayal and they both take their own path as enemies and not friends anymore!
@mralias47 --- Friends?!? Hmmmmmm........ the characters are supposed to be lovers, boyfriends, but this is So You Think You Can Dance so they don't use the gay word aloud.
@bigdaddyhorrorreview ok, i just said friends coz thats what they said! Art is subjective so if you want them to be gay, so it is! for me, judging from the dance they seem more like friends. If they were lovers they would act more eroticlly so in my opinion they are friends!
@mralias47 As said, this is So You Think You Can Dance so there is only so far they can push the envelope. This piece is put together by Travis, who is gay. When it aired, he was out in the audience crying. This piece had some deep, personal resonance for him obviously. Does one get that choked up over a friend or over a lover?
@bigdaddyhorrorreview Yeah you are right at some point but i belive that lovers come and go but friends are forever!!! So you get more hurt when you lose a friend rather than when you lose a lover! That's what i belive!, although i accept your opinion on that matter and thank you for sharing it! I'm not crossing out your point of view but i'm leaning more to my thoughts!

@Dancergrl5jl Actually, I think that Travis spoke about it being about an abusive relationship in which one partner is cruel and the other submissive until, in the end, the abused partner is able to walk away. Seems autobiographical and very powerful.
I have to say...out of all of the seasons and episodes and dances, this one probably has to be my favorite. It's so beautiful and so relateable. We've all had friends who have abandoned us and when you watch this, it brings back that emotion. Plus, it makes me want to cry just thinking about anyone hurting sweet Kent.

first of all Travis is amazing!! every time i watch this dance i suddenly become speechless. These two danced theis so well the make an excellent duo...there are no words to describe this dance, thats how good it is.
