I think you are a great storyteller through ASL and film. You have given us a clear picture of how your dad communicated, and you've kept our attention on your story. Using black and white enhanced the story and complimented the style. Keep these stories coming!
nice to know that ur dad know sign with hybrid asl. My mom know signs of some asl and see mix it depend. my dad just very few signs and show home body sign .

ur dad sign is home sign. you are lucky that ur dad know sign. does ur mom know sign too?

Greeyore, I would say Hybrid ASL + home sign. Yes, my mom do know some of signs.
