EZ5i Flash Cart working on DSi Firmware 1.4x

Guys, I need your help.

I'm trying to do this fix, but my EZ Flash Vi card won't load in my DS LITE. It gets to the loading screen, with the loading circle, and then it freezes, and the screen glitches... I don't know what's going wrong??

the firmware would be 1.0 .....you have to update it to be 1.4

depends black and white run with 1.3 and all the other colours run on 1.4 hope this helped :) im getting a black one by the way with a acekard2i.

Oh you can update the flash cart to dsi 1.4 on a ds lite

you can take out battery put it back in and it will reset the whole DSi like a restore to the day u got it.

i did not get what just happened. u put it on the dsi didnt work. put it on ds lite it worked. put it in the dsi it worked. are u saying i neeed my ds lite?

no no i think he used the ds lite to udate the card wirelessly then put wireless so ya i guess you need another ds or have 1.3 still

you might want to hold off for a a week or two before considering buying a new one... you never know, there might be a an acekard 2i update to fix this problem....

I'm in the same boat, I have an Ak2i and I accidentally updatyed the firmware without thinking about it.

What he did was put the cart in the DS lite so he could update the kernal since it cannot be run on a DSi with 1.4.

This is defiantly the way to go and I dont see why the didnt include re-writable kernals in the acekard and other eairly dsi carts.

The icon of the EZ-flash I Saw it changes because apparently it uses some hack based on the game THQ's Tak. I have plundered the picture of the video, and with a bit of GIMP, there is obvious TAK's face and that puts "TAK" and "THQ"

No. This is for EzFlash Vi. So far no user can do the update, this video show a work in progress version of the patch.

When this is done, will be released to public. And when this happen, maybe almost every DSi flashcard vendor will release similar update.
