And how many jobs will be created by the repaving project? For one thing, $1.1m can't be more than stopgap on that particular project -- Sunset Strip hasn't been repaved in 75 years, and a revitalization will probably mean more traffic and more jobs in the long run. You idiots think the mere mention of "Hollywood!" in context of government spending automatically equals wasteful, and it's simply not the case.

Wow, this cost $4 million dollars???!!! There are people here on Youtube that make videos just as good if not better for very little if any money. Everyone says that we have a two party political system, but it's not.Take a quarter, one side is R one side is D, but it's still a quarter. That is our system today, . Well, for me, I'm of the opinion that tolerance is a virtue ... provided those subject to your tolerance are willing to be as tolerant of you in equal measure.

So far, many who demand tolerance have yet to deserve it. This is a subtle point, too; many will easily misconstrue it as a call for intolerance when it's really about tolerance requiring mutual respect for it to be so.

My thought is explained by this: tolerance is not a one way street.

What I see are lots of people intolerant of, say, Christianity and Judaism but willing to be tolerant of Islam and Secularism. Of course, it's also working the other way around.

All of them must be tolerant of each other ... ALL OF THEM. Otherwise, tolerance fails and what you end up with is sectarian violence.

I submit to you that NO belief is truly tolerant of others and they likely never will be.

Tolerance can easily give way to weakness because the intolerant party will easily play dirty, forcing the other party to sink to the same level.

Leaving others alone is the virtue of tolerance, but nobody wants to leave each other alone.

If we keep spending gargauntuan ammounts like an $800B bill, we'll go further into debt and lose that much more of our freedom to foreign nations. But the problem arises when you have a congress that passes bills like Obamacare, the attempted Cam & Trade, and really any other bill by one side.
