The hackintosh seems dead now. It was inevitable and just a matter of time. To be a Mac takes a lot more resources than 4 or 5 people just cracking OS X... it takes worldwide collaboration and talent and ingenuity. The Mac has too many loyal users and they want to keep the elegance of the Mac alive. These are nothing but toys. Big deal.

The Hackintosh is far from dead mate, you do realise they managed to crack apple EFI - their only protection. Hackintoshes can now boot snow leopard and update using software update and behave exactly like typical macs. But, I'll always prefer a real mac - better design. Only real issue is price, but I love my macbook pro.

To be honest I don't think they are dumb at all, they diagnosed it correctly and were fed lies that it was installed from iTunes in 'like, 10 minutes'. Everything they said is TRUE. They knew OSX could be installed on PC and they knew it uses a 'totally different kind of BIOS'. I don't see how this makes them slow or stupid?
