Up until they made Arkham Asylum this was the best Batman game EVER made. That's saying a lot because I'm sure they spent a lot of time making Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin for systems that could easily outperform the NES I thought the controls, graphics, and gameplay were all very good for this game, but it's the EPIC music that keeps me playing. Every level has this bumping music that few games can compare to.

I played this game MANY, MANY times. I got to the Joker ONCE, died, and put this game away to be tried again in like 5 years. Beating this game is damn near impossibe. Still, the incredible music, controls, and graphics made this the best Batman game I've ever played (not counting Arkham Asylum).

For me this was like a second Ninja Gaiden, like that game, it begins really easy and fair, but the last levels are HELL and will make you throw your controller or punch your keyboard (if you are playing it on an emulator)

The last boss (a super overpowered Joker) is along Jacquio, one of the greatest son of bitches of videogame history.

I love this game, as well as it's soundtrack. If there is one thing SUN SOFT rules at, it is great soundtracks. Batman, Gremlins 2, Blaster Master... Oh their games are definitely not easy. But the soundtrack usually kicks ass. :D
