RIP Bro's, those of you who didn't know, these Gentlemen were killed when they were performing in NAS Willow Grove later that year. This was by far the best Tomcat demo I have ever seen, I was there, and I have seen the F-14 A,B, & D at Point Mugu, El Toro, and Miramar a gazillion times and these guys even out did the Super Tomcat's from VF-124. Godspeed Sir's!!!!!!!!!!
To be honest I don't like american airplanes so much they are kinda to blown with words for me but I love Tomcat it is so nice looking and so good aircraft. Wanna fly one!
Simple. Look at the engines. Their Pratt & Whitney TF-30's only used on the A model Tomcats. B's and D's use the GE-F-110-400 engines and have different exhaust petals.
Man absolutley fantastic video I have never seen an F-14A in action other than top gun of course this has by far got to be the best F-14 demo video on youtube to date and that dirty roll after the touch and go sure gives the superhornet a run for its money!

The best F-14 demo I have ever seen shows good handling abilities and power while most other videos just show flybys.

Yeah, that dirty roll kind of reminds me of Top Gun when Maverick takes off from the carrier to do battle with the MiGs.
