  • Do people think it makes any sense at all to show the pulp mill? When advertising for a city you show the good, not the bad. Every city does the same.

  • 0:50 New River Beach. Home :)

  • Yeah, I'd be really excited to be in a YouTube video too - cause ya know, it ain't easy getting published on the inter-tubes.

  • Astounding!!!!! So true to the core essence of what this city has to offer. My home, the Mini London of Canada (literally, from architecture to the infamous foggy/rain weather) A historical city with hidden gems. Any adventures Canadian would thrive on the opportunity to explore this little city. <3

  • i love it. truly professional promotional video.

  • at 1:08 this is Pete's Frootique, and that's my cousin at 1:08!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that's my cousin at 1:08!!!!

  • Yeah, this video has lots and lots of the reasons that I love living in Saint John. :) Excellent.

  • This is an absolutely fantastic piece - thank you for showcasing our beautiful city so wonderfully! I love it here, lifelong Saint Johner with no desire to be any place else.

  • How exactly is this video deceiving ?

  • Wow......The Bay of Fun-DAY?????? I could understand if this was made by a production company from away, but this was produced locally!!!! How could they miss this.......twice? It's Fun-DEE. Always has been, always will be.

  • Love my city <3

  • great job boys at Hemmingshouse.its about time we started an innitiative to shake the negative stigmas that have dogged this beautuful, gritty, and vibrant city.Saint John is the mist beautiful eastcoast city. We just have to look at this video and then stop people from putting it down..Saint John is going to be unstoppable very soon.

  • haha Cool - it's J.D. and Colin!

  • I'm not sure how you find this video deceiving. This is an amazing video and I just cannot stop watching it! My family (dad) owns the zipline and it's quite amazing to see us in this video! Job well done :)

  • This video is VERY deceiving.

  • @landanmac <3

  • @landanmac yeah, no kidding. Pulp mill? What pulp mill? I don't see one... oh and that beach and the caves, yeah they're right off Sand Cove Road....

  • WOW! I'm saying that about the city (greatest place to live BTW) but also a giant WOW for the video. This was a really high-end product. Ranks up there with some of the best tourism promos that I've seen.

  • Really well done :)

  • This is the Saint John I know. All that and a lot more. Great job on the video guys.

  • This is truly amazing. Well done, it is about time Saint John started showing what they have to offer.

  • awww i miss this place. spent a semester in UNB (Winter 2010). i didnt get to go to the beach though :(

  • @MrAbade2010 Are you sure you're living in Saint John and not St. John's? LOL

  • @ohboize

unfortunately, yes Saint John ... maybe Saint John's better I have to go there and find the 10 differencec LOOL

  • Excellent! Really captures the Saint John I know and love. ^RH

  • Fantastic video. Fantastic city. A+

  • great video! Did the jetboat ride this summer... amazing!

  • Great video, except the narrator pronounces "Bay of Fundy" as "Bay of Funday"

  • ...and then they actually get to Saint John.

  • @5anta hahahahaha so true.....

  • I have never seen the Saint John City Market so devoid of people...I'm amazed they got a clear shot!

  • I think they did an excellent job of showing off the city, and yes all that is in the city! I worked at an information center and can honestly say it's all there, the zipline, the jetboat , the caves in St Martin's, surprisingly Saint John has many hidden gems

  • Awesome to see Harry Cox, a man who had a quad bypass, shredding the reversing falls rapids. The man is a legend.

  • @MrAbade2010 Boring is a choice. Theres entertainment in any city. The only thing that limits the enjoyment in your life is your own personal choices.

  • @macdonald514434

You may misunderstand me, I just wrote what I'm really feeling about this city. I'm attending the UNB even with buying new car it's still there is no any entertainment.

    - The markets are closed early night.

    - You can't walk in the Uptown after 7 because the Addicts everywhere.

If I'm going to still count all the bad things that I saw throw the last 2 years in Sain John, my list wont be finish.

Sorry but this is the reality about SJ.

  • @MrAbade2010 Can't walk outside after 7? I think you might be the one on crack

  • @MrAbade2010 It must be tough waking up every morning to the harsh reality that you're an idiot. Can't walk uptown after 7? wtf? Saint John is one of the safest places I've ever lived. Sure it's not a perfect city, but ALL you seem to see is negative. I pity you. Grow up.

  • @MrAbade2010 maybe leave your house once in a while?

  • Awesome

  • Great ad guys!
