I think the problem today is that games are too damn trendy. Everything today is so generic because everything wants to be too cool for its own good. Gamers today are too full of themselves and dont let themselves be surprised by games. They all want the same stuff as before and are dissecting games like it was a contest. It has lost most of the magic. Both gamers and developers are to blame for this.. IMHO

I'm so grateful for being able to have had the experience of playing this game when I was younger, with my little brothers. It formed a strong bond that we still have up to this day. Just the memories that go along with the songs from Zelda OOT are quite literally strong enough to make me tear up. Most of the songs from Zelda OOT are like the theme songs of my childhood.. along with poke'mon for gameboy, amongst other games.... Not to mention, it was the best game every produced in history.. <3

You start the fire temple at it's end and work your way to the beginning xD

I have to disagree with you. If Nintendo didn't decide to go extremely casual then they probably would still have a bunch of good games out that were as impressionable as the ones in the 90s but you know how the Wii is. All the other systems are about first person shooters and fighting games. Even though I like those genres it all gets generic.
