I'm a huge fan of the book, so with the movie I just assumed that they would change some things (movie adaptations rarely achieve better than the book).

In that light, I enjoyed it.

Watchmen is all about how you view it, so I just took the movie as Zack Snyder's interpretation.

i find it sad. watchemen is really unknown among most of the world. watchmen was the graphic novel that really changed the way i thought about superhero comics. it also introduced me to the brilliant literary talent of alan moore; and he has the right to distant himself from any of his work that is turned into movie. it's his pride and his joy, and he wants no one to say it was crap. although the books the movies are based on are great in the first place.
