I agree with you that another excuse for generalized hatred is not what we need. However, I cannot help but condemn each of those who ignored the baby. It seems indicative of a general state of apathetic selfishness, which I think has sadly come to replace China's spiritual identity, especially in the younger generations. I'm chinese but I feel very ashamed of my race now. I can not even express the depth and sincerity of my condolences towards her family. Those bastards who ran over her and those low-lifes who walked past her should get hung, drawn and quartered. How dare they!

@brianlai22 The guilty ones are the ones who ran her over but the bystanders really should have taken action to atleast call for help if not intervene. No excuse. I guess people just didnt know whether they should bother or not or whether it was their duty to do something. We must learn that if others dont do anything doesnt mean we should not.

@DontTrustAMan Yes thats right but the situation in China is different. Speaking as a Chinese living in the UK, I can see clearly that China's moral standard has decayed so much. You may come across someone from time to time who would have some sense of humanity but most of the population have become zombies. They simply possess no sympathy.

@brianlai22 Yes zombies, I was going to say dumbos. They really looked dumb as if they didnt know what they should have done. The poor little girl suffered as a result of people not taking immediate action to save her life. I think if she was moved and not run over second time and then taken to ambulance she could have survived. Terrible shame the country must learn from this.

I'm never going back to my home country ever again, not in my life, unless their government and its population start getting their act together. Unless they change drastically, I'm never going to revisit that hell hole. As far as I'm concerned, China has lost all respect from me, and I'm supposed to be patriotic to my homeland.
