Islamic prayer is super-ritualized. It is prescribed as to specific words and mannerisms. Even washing before prayer is prescribed specifically. The numbers of times the Muslim bends over, puts his head on the floor (or dirt, etc.) and recites specific passages is prescribed. All one needs to do to pray like a Muslim is to read what Muhammed made up about it. Over a course of 22 years or so, Muhammed spouted his so-called "revelations", making it up as he went along. @jimmmmybrady YOu cant prove it cuz i can PROVE what it really means the word that one of the posters quoted from Deuteronomy 29 is "alot" [אלות], which is probably plural for the super archaic Hebrew word alah [אלה], not the Arabic allah (note the double L).
The word "allah" comes from the same root as the Hebrew equivalents "el" and "elohim"- god.
