Of course he is in the 1%. Farenheit 9/11 made over $100 million at the box office. So did he eat all the tens of millions he made from his mockumentaries?
This guy is sooo stupid. Just ideological to be ideological. Congress has to be held accountable, it people will always try to corrupt them, it is their job not to be. This man is a moron, and part of the 1%.
Morgan loves to miss the point and focus on things off topic of the protest.
He still thinks its about the rich vs everybody else through this whole clip.
Its just not that simple at all. He just has to go to a GA and ask those participating to get a good sense. Some outsiders seem to have gotten it, many havent even though its repeated often enough by those who get it.
But they go in with preconcienved notions and only find protesters that fit their narrative.
Moore is soooooo full of shit.. he IS in the top 1%.. there's no way Moore is anything less than a millionaire... and even he is.. let's say he makes 500 grand a year.. he's still in the top 1%..
This is why I hate moore... he raises good issues but he lies constantly.
This scumbag makes millions playing the middle class like a fiddle. He wants to talk about violence? Socialism is violence. Taking someone's EARNINGS by force of law is VIOLENCE. And they want the government to fix things? Government breaks your leg, gives you a crutch, and says "Look, without us you wouldnt be able to walk!" The audacity!
@12345678tube wage slavery is also violence, and yes, i want to the gov to work for us. It has a use to help us make our lives better. Your darn right I want it to work for me.
big business breaks my legs, sells me a crutch, and says, look how bad the gov is, they are so similar, trust us.
But I have more power working with the gov than a business if we take back the power we are supposed to have with the government away from big business and the mega rich.
@waltermh111 Wage slave? You're fucking free to leave! How dare you compare poor pay to ACTUAL SLAVERY!?!?!? Go start another business. Go work for someone else. You cannot morally force people to give you stuff if they dont want to. That is coercion. Take back the power? Good luck. Maybe, if we shrank government to the confines placed on it by the constitution we wouldnt be in this mess w the housing bubble. Government grants monopolies. Then they come up with minimum wage - your crutch. Enjoy.
@12345678tube hurr but propurty is theft caputilism is bad and creul thi govurnment shood rais the munimum wage to a hundrud dollurs and giv everwun stuff
By giving slaves “freedom” & carrying-out educ., they’re better exploitable due 2 self-chosen profession, picked according 2 each individual’s abilities.
Thereby slave owners successfully externalized costs 4 food, shelter health care & riots.
Histrclly., govt. (by itself tool, not entity) is bought by 2 wealthy ppl. (in any syst. w/o max. wage). Cause & effect in this collusion isn’t a bribing politician, but a bribing merchant/bankster/criminal, buying favors.
@Tressco Just use your brain. You call it slavery - to work for someone. Well, specializing according to your abilities AND the wants of the consumers (mostly consisting of the common man) has made us so very prosperous compared to what we had before which was FEUDALISM! All of our actions are controlled, but we get taken care of. This is in its essence, what communism is. Show me a functional communist society. The US isnt capitalist either, before you go there. Its a mixed economy. not good.
@waltermh111 I want a car but noone will give me one for free. THEY'RE USING FORCE AND THEREFORE VIOLENCE BY NOT LETTING ME STEAL THEIR CAR. PROPERTY IS THEFT!!!111ONEONE
@DoctorCapitalist I cant tell, your admitting that its the threat of violence that keeps you from taking a car you havent bought or agreed with somebody who owns it to take.
Thanks for agreeing with me. I guess its best in a voluntary society where if you want something, and the person wont give it to you, you voluteer to take it. Its their fault for not volunteering to work with you and give it to you.
Theres no force to stop you besides the previous owner hunting you across the country.
@waltermh111 Well if a woman is carrying a knife to deter rapists, it is true that she is threatening any weirdo who attempts to assault her with violence, but this is defensive coercion, not offensive coercion. Offensive coercion would be if the rapist held a knife to the women's throat and demanded that she had sex with him.
@waltermh111 Everyone has an argument for property rights whether they like it or not. The statist argues that the state is the only entity than can own property, therefore they simply rent property out to people. This is why those who argue for the "social contract" theory believe that the state is using defensive coercion and not offensive coercion. Of course, the statist's theory of property rights is not universal and not objective, so it is a false theory of property rights.
@waltermh111 Either we argue that the state owns everything within it's geographical area (and therefore we are nothing but serfs) or you admit that the state is using offensive coercion, which is of course, wrong.
@waltermh111 We can see that offensive coercion/violence is wrong because it is universally preferred to not have someone do something to/with your property against your consent. The non aggression principle is accepted universally, however in order for us to figure out a differentiation between offensive coercion and defensive coercion, we must establish a proper theory of property rights which is objective and universal.
@waltermh111 We can easily argue that we each own our bodies, anyone who does something to our bodies against our consent would be guilty of offensive coercion/violence (rape, murder, assault, stealing your organs etc). We can see that we own our bodies because we have the best connection, plus it is universally preferable that we own our own bodies and have noone do something with our bodies against our consent. (Rapists don't want people to do stuff to them against their consent).
@waltermh111 We now of course have to establish a proper property rights theory in regards to objects external to our body which helps reduce the amount of conflict possible and seems fair, objective and universal. This is where the homesteading principle comes in, the labour theory of property which is the principle which is based on the idea that if you mix your labour with unowned land (naturally occurring raw materials) that you now own that as your property and can do with it what you wish.
@waltermh111 The homesteading theory of property is also practical and has been going on for thousands of years (finders keepers). It works because the resources are the direct result of the person's labour mixed with the unowned materials. If it weren't for the labour put into the unowned resources, the outcome (the property, which is basically the means for someone to fulfil a desire) would not have come into existence.
@waltermh111 It also helps because if the first claimer of the property (he who mixed the labour with the unowned resources) does not have a better claim than someone who just comes along and says it's his, then the second person does not have a better claim than the third person, then the fourth person etc. It just leads to a "might means right" scenario. People would only consume what they produced in the moment, plus when you take something, you take it because you want to keep use of it.
@waltermh111 If a moral rule is "Anyone can take what they want!" then it is self refuting because a person who claims ownership of property claims the property so they can keep it as a means to achieve their desires, but under the moral principle of "you can take property from anyone if you want" what would happen is that you would have to constantly pass it along to the next person, otherwise you would be using offensive coercion and be in the wrong whenever you resist someone taking it.
@waltermh111 Contracts are evidence of consent and agreements. Breaking an agreement means you do something to someone against their consent, for example if two parties mutually agree to give a backrub in return for a backrub, if one person then refuses to give the backrub after recieving their backrub, then they have done something to the other person against their consent, because they only consented to giving their labour and time for a backrub in return. Their labour and time have been stole
$50 million net worth, I'm pretty sure that's the 1% regardless of philanthropy and charitable donations. Yes Michael, not all the 1% are greedy people, many are the biggest philanthropist's in the country, but you're still in the 1%.
Sick of fighting over the 9th slice of the pie? Then bake another pie for yourself. That's what's great and unique about America. Its not a zero sum, here wealth can be created if you're willing to work for it instead of whine all the time. Start by investing some of your wealth in yourself and not giving it to some moron with a God complex.
fuck the 99 %, its funny how the people in the 99% all support obama but he has done nothing for you guys. AND EVERY1 HATED BUSH ! so fuck every1 who hated bush yet loves obama. bush had to put troops in the middle east for what happened at 911. how can any1 not remember or just forget about that day. give the man some credit, he tried his best.
what moore should've said in response to the 1% thing is: "yes, i'm in the richest 1% of the country, PURELY BY ACCIDENT. i could've been born without my talents, could've not gotten my breaks, etc. it's the same for these other people, most of whom don't even make their money by means of any real talent. what we must do is make society more fair and seek to remove these unjust outcomes."
What a commie slug! I hope we can get our country back from the globalist scumbags. We need to pull together and look at who got the money. I wrote a song about it last week It's on youtube "who got the money"by Parker. check it out tell me what you think, Pass it around and hang in there everyone!
@MTheory77 very true i think this whole percent business is just a diversion and a way to divide and conquer like many other ideas. It's much more rational just to focus on the way the system operates and the injustice of "the money changers" and how they manipulate the system rather than focusing on some imagined percent of people destroying "the middle class" but i guess that's a message that resonates easily. Also i think you're correct that it's more like the 0.1% or even less than that.
@MTheory77 thanks, i was going to point that it. Its exactly as you say. I wish people could understand this, since its often said by protesters that its not about the rich so much as how much power they have over our politicians and the rules that affect our lives.
I dont know moore to have any power over politicians, no lobby in his name, no large company donations, whatever he may donate himself.
The U.S. CORPORATION..fake "gov" is nothing more than over 180,000 fake "gov/fund/dept" CORPORATIONS with CAFR reports and DUN&BRAD STREET ratings....
That prove it is the majority share holder of the crony-global-FORTUNE500...
So stop listening to MMoore the RICH SHILL....IF he was real, he could distinguish between "capitalism"...and the IMF scam="FED RESERVE"; and the fake "gov" crony-corporatism that has hijacked America, we the people, and the Constitution
Final point I want to make about this video right now, I just read today, school debt is higher in America than credit card debt. Is it the students fault that school debt doesn't work out? Basically America got duped into the situation that they take on this school debt for educations that OBVIOUSLY were not worth what the graduates paid. What good is an education, if there's no job? Especially where corporate America provides "educations" that then require you be hired by a corporation.
Corporate edu COULD be providing educations toward ownership of the corporations graduates then create based on the skills they learned in school. Basically they could encourage combining business and engineering degrees so there would be more business owners, but instead they provide nearly universally educations that then require people find corporate employers to issue them a pittance for corporate service, many building weapons of mass destruction, precision guided munitions and such.
Obviously the cunning f*cking bastards in Washington have a f*cking lot to do with how this happened. Graham Leech Bliley act gutting the Glass Stegal Depression Protections was what set the derivatives obliteration of the economy in motion. DEFINITELY there's masses of warm politicians bodies to blame for this fkn mess. Moore, you fkn disinfo a-hole fkn corporate wh*re media darling traitorous swine lord douche bag monster demon.
So TOTALLY OBVIOUSLY M.MOORE here is playing the blame game, he's going point away from the politiicians at the corporations. The Republicans are going to point at the government for not allowing the job creators to keep more of their "earnings" [sic]. The media is going to point at Americans for being so dumb to sign up for Adjustable Rate Mortgages. Schelp interviewer blames people with credit cards, have you even heard 1 story of people overspending on cc and defaulting? Me? not 1.
How come he doesn't talk about the federal reserve why is michael moore a spokesperson, since he seems to now know the real issues. Or avoid them consciously.
@gshooting Very true, he seems to be very knowledgable on many issues. Only through Michael did i learn about a lot of the crimes involving Iraq and afghanistan. But he wants more government and has this silly disillusion expecting the government to take care of people. But like Dr. Paul says: government can't give you anything it has to take it from someone else. Mr. Moore misunderstands the issues. We need self-regulating systems with true feedback(a free market).
he just thinks capitalism is evil, and i guess losing trust in self-regulation and the free market is a lot like loosing faith in humanity. I bet he secretly feels like he's saving all these idiots whenever he goes to talk somewhere. But they fail that the risk of behaviors for self-gain, cheating and manipulation is much greater with large government and powerful social policies than in a free market. Humanity is still defining it's evolutionary history. Will we be free or an enslaved race?
@evilmeerkat007 Reminds me of something i read a while back or saw in a video i don't remember but i think it involved a intelligent guy named William Cooper. Some powerful leader in the past said something like: whenever they need a hero we will provide them with one. I guess Michael Moore among other people might be the power elite's pitiful attempt at giving the people a false leader and hope to divert the issues elsewhere. Spitting 95% truths and 5% lies. But i think it's not working...
How do we fix America? Prosecute the criminals that operate the for profit prison industry, prosecute the military industrial complex, prosecute the banksters, prosecute the politicians who are thriving by bribery and their thorough subjugation by blackmail. Put masses of wealthy humanity in fkn jail for the rest of their miserable lives, including Michael Moore, corporate wh*re, who always avoids real solutions by far.
1) How the fuck can Michael Moore not claim to be the 1% when he has tens of millions of dollars in cash?
2) Who the fuck watches the Pierce Morgan show? This guy is a fucking chode...does anybody honestly care what he thinks about outside of America's Got Talent?
@danielvincentkelley You seem to have missed the point- it's a pretty far disconnect between being unemployed and having $50million. How much money do YOU have? It's time to wake up and see how douchebags are piggybacking off the movement and making money.
The purpose of dividing the 99% from the treacherous 1%, is to not offend all the millionaires who live no guile, but are just going about their lives in the top 9% under the top 1%, just trying to expand their wealth and maybe issuing pay checks to workers. Most people in the US are employed by small business. Small business owners are often millionaires, but not nearly top 1%. So THAT'S why the specific divide. 1% vs 99% is so as not to offend moderately wealthy people.
@doksekko As for me, I spent 5 years living on the street, with an income of about $20 per month after I published against the congress, accusing them of mass murder for subsidizing tobacco grown in radioactive fertilizer. I published that in 2000. I was homeless and long term unemployed from 2001-2006. Now I'm on disability, by my estimation I've been disabled by taking a stand against the murderous empire. Doctors say I'm crazy for relating my publishing to my poverty.
@doks I'm a highly skilled technician though, I have certification in windows administration, html, flash programming, I was a sonar tech in the Navy with a top secret security clearance, I worked for Compaq computer corporation for 3 years doing tech support. My loosing my capacity to make a living, having to live on the street after publishing against the congress accusing them of mass murder, was also paired with extreme police harassment and police brutality and numerous attempts on my life.
So, I didn't miss the point. I recognize Michael Moore as thorough guilty in this corporate mess. But he's not top 1% by earnings or holdings. He's a cheap propaganda hack. I was just trying to express to you, who the top 1% REALLY are, multibillionaires, who are the most murderous people on Earth right now. Michael Moores service to those top 1% certainly submerses his heinous person in massive murderous guilt. But pretending he's a top 1% decision maker is not helpful to understanding reality.
@danielvincentkelley You must have not read the response you replied to. I just clarified what I meant was merely pointing out the sizable disconnect between the average person and having $50million . I'm not interested in arguing the semantics of my first post in any more detail; I've already clarified it twice. Especially if you are implying I thought Michael Moore was a policy maker, because that is more condescending than your self-righteous rants.
It's got nothing to do with capitalism!!!! It is the greed and corruption in government and the markets that is the real problem!!! Greed and corruption and market rigging is anti-capitalistic!!!
im not sure how much Michael Moore is worth, but when was the last time he created MBS and sold it to investors, and then bet against it by loading up on the CDS? when was the last time he created money out of nothing like the bankers?
The things you are talking about jobs and the likes there of really began to disappear with bills like NAFTA which was passed by a democrat, or the new free trade agreement signed by Obama. MM does not know his ass from a hole in the ground, he blindly follows the democratic party, and he didn't have to mention he is only a HS grad. He lies and says that he is not in the 1% he is worth 50 million dollars.
@Ohrela I don't like this bloated fool due to his stance on gun rights, but i'm sure he's not the 1%. Having millions doesn't make you the top 4%, not 1 but 4%. I'm sure Moore pays his share in taxes.
@Deztructor13x The top 1% make 380,000 per year and more. Good god people, would you actually look this shit up? I know it's a slogan and everything and saying "WE ARE THE 99.9999%" isn't as easy, but come on.
@snipzor 380k a year is upper middle class, specially with the way the dollar has been devalued. The problem with our society is we went from CEO's making 20 times the average salary to making 200+ times the average salary today. That and the real wealth in this country pays no taxes using loop holes they create and using non profit organizations that are really no better than money laundering schemes. Rockefeller and Ford foundations come to mind.
@Deztructor13x top 1% of in the untied states is a person who earns over 348,000 a year or more. bankrate(DOT)com/finance/taxes/top-1-percent-earn.aspx
@Ohrela Yeah but do you really think that site is accurate? The real wealth in this country knows how to manipulate the system because they lobby for the laws. Why do you think pricks like Buffett get on TV and ask to have his taxes raised? Because he pays hardly anything due to loop holes and the tax increases won't change that. They are con men out to destroy the middle class and turn the U.S. in to a de-industrialized 3rd world country.
@Deztructor13x It was on a reuters site as well, those are statistics based off of in all likelihood census data, which I found rather quickly in a search with multiple sources. Your entitled to not trust factual information and rely on speculation if you choose, but what I was arguing was that MM was in the top 1% knows it and lied about it. Obviously the lobbyists employed by corporations to write the laws are doing so for their benefit but issue is the solution.
@Deztructor13x Micheal Moore and other people who call themselves liberals believe the democrats propaganda, and don't understand that is is unconstitutional to take peoples money and spend it on programs which they feel is for the greater good. They don't understand that the limit of the democratic principle within the republic are reached when they encroach upon our right guaranteed by the constitution. I think we are probablly on the same page from what I read earlier, MM is 1%Statistically
@Deztructor13x 348,000 a year could be argued that it is top 1% income, by standards of net worth the top 1% is anyone with a net worth of of over 5 million dollars. jehovahs-witness(DOT)net/social/current/217184/1/Two-Tiered-1-Issues-With-The-Top-1-OR-The-Top-05
Anyone who believe capitalism is wrong needs their head examined. ONe might just give up on their own pursuit of life and happiness right now if you believe capitalism should be done with. What the REAL issue is that of Corporatism. Government collusion with Multinational corporations regulating the market and everyone's life to serve only their interests. Life was not like this in the past. Put down your corporate government tracking toys (ipad, ipod, android devices) and wake up. You tools.
@NeptunesTrident We've had 3 generations being indoctrinated in the gubment education camps. They've been taught that we live in a "democracy" and not a constitutional republic, and they've been taught that capitalism is evil because Americans are greedy and people who have more stuff than me are evils. Its going to take a lot to deprogram the zombies. Americans lost their greatest gift, the ability for critical thinking. We are a society of repeaters now, repeating the official lie.
Michael Moore is a promulgator of socialism, and that is where we are at as a country. To go from fascism to socialism, or fascism to liberty. I feel like a lot of people in this country will sell their liberty for a Job, and Healthcare. MM is capitalizing on the publicity opportunity, and has been successful in acting as the celebrity voice of OWS, answering questions about the demonstration with "we". If his views represent mainstream OWS that is not a good thing.
Let me make this clear, there is absolutely nothing wrong with capitalism, it is crony capitalism that is the problem. There is no need to justify that you are a millionaire Michael because you worked hard to get there and kudos to you. Rich people are not the problem, it's the greedy ass, selfish ultra-rich people that are. The root of the problem is DC. They allow themselves to be bought out. FUCK THE GOVERNMENT & FUCK WALL STREET! #OCCUPYEVERYTHING
@jrda128 Right, the point is not to categorically disparage the most wealthy -- it's to put an end to the corporate welfare and elitism that favors the rich and ignores the corruptive system that buys our politicians and trashes our economy. I love rich people, wish I had more of them as friends. But it's the 99% that are getting screwed over and it's got to stop.
LOL at the idiots that think Michael Moore is in the 1%
The only influence Mike has ever been given to him is out his own creativity, these 1% elites have no knowledge of work, there money has never taken a hit in the last 500+ years!!! In fact in only grows as they take usury to a new level, even killing any leader that defies there extortion.
These morons think Moore is some kind cash hawk cause he banked off his brain educating people!! While being totally ignorant to the real elites.
He doesn't really support the ending of the fed and wants to end Capitalism ..which he keeps calling it that instead of calling it what it REALLY is, crony capitalism or corporatism. Once he continues to stop the spread the message of ending just Capitalism...which is what he is a part of I and you should NOT support it.
@diginando Supports them in wealth? No? Oh... spiritually he's with them... oh... he also gladly takes their money when they go see his movie... huh...
Moore is a lot like Russell Simmons who was down there at OWS claiming to be the so called 99%. When this guy clearly is the 1%. Also Simmons has also gotten into some trouble from critics about this Rush Card scam he's promoting. It's funny Simmons is against big corporations when he is a big Corporation. This guy has his own pre paid credit card company for christ sakes.
@Charbear25 You idiot the 1% is billionaires not millionaires, about 400 families and MM's day was an autoworker. He is not a Walton ie Walmart you fucking fool.
@Charbear25 ...and? Stop blaming people who are trying to help you. He has a podium and uses it, which you and I don't have. You just protected those who screwed you over. Man. I can't figure you people out.
When we have MONEY INFLUENCING our laws & our policies, those things are NATURALLY going to be for the BENEFIT OF THE MONIED SECTORS like corporations & the ultra wealthy!
We have the widest wealth gap & widest wage gap in god knows how long - maybe even HISTORICALLY THE WIDEST GAPS in these areas!
We CAN'T have a country that's geared towards the smallest % of the population !
The harder I work the more poor I become. Should have taken a job being a millionaire or learned how to milk government entitlement programs. This in the middle stuff is becoming far too difficult.
Moore is in the 1% by dollar terms. He's been making money off political issues for years and he'll make money off the OWS events as well. Like the rest of the media, Moore pushes the left-right divide kool-aide for all the sheep to consume.
@ImproveYourMagic Thanks. For the reasearch These folks keep bitching against people who are trying to help them. He has a podium and uses it, which you and I don't have.
@cowpacino No they're not, the top .0001 percent (or something close to those digits) are billionaires. The top 1 percent make 380,000+ per year. Look that shite up before you use talking points.
@chadberry75 Well, not really, I would much rather argue that university graduates are unaware of many of the possible careers after graduation. Unless you're in Fine Arts, where people who have Fine Arts degrees tackled with another field laugh at them. Good joke.
This Jew (Moore) is meant for social engineering. Come on, could anybody that was this retarded looking carry any weight? Jew media wants you to believe nobody has ever had this guy's message before. It's ridiculous, Moore is a jew who tries to steer us Goyim from the real issue, which is Jews exploiting us every day , in every way, robbing our savings, labor, future, and freedom. they don't give a fuck, as long as you stay stupid!
Moore says ''Dont blame DC they are just the servants to Wall Street'' ... so according to Moore if you do the the dirty work for $omebody you are innocent ?!?!
The efforts of occupy wallstreet movement are in vain. Obama, who has enabled wall street greed to go unfettered and wholeheartedly supports the military industrial complex is now latching onto this movement; he will paint the republicans as extremists (which they are) and secure his second term. NOTHING will change.
Why aren't the prominent figures involved in OWS such as Mr. Moore spearheading a campaign to primary Obama?
I wouldn't be in the one percent if I was forced too. The one percent is a very sick evil criminal scum low life collection of bastards and bitches don't even care for their own mothers and fathers... brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles or children.. they are the scum of all existence...
@WhenDreamsTouchFire You're mad because you cannot formulate a logical arguement to disagree, our government is corrupt, and you still dont understand it's because of all our lobbyists and whore politicians. but ok, keep jerking off to your reflection because you're youtube channel has spread the word out their and effected soooooo many lives. shoot yourself in the head, the internet would be better off.
And who the hell are you to tell "WhenDreamsTouchFire" and his opinions holds no meanings whatsoever & the world should better without him? Michael Moore is an idiotic hypocrite at its finest along with our government. Look into what's going on overseas, in Europe. The socialist model in which government takes over the medical hasn't worked. Nothing but heavy taxation and increa

big business breaks my legs, sells me a crutch, and says, look how bad the gov is, they are so similar, trust us.
But I have more power working with the gov than a business if we take back the power we are supposed to have with the government away from big business and the mega rich.
waltermh111 4 months ago
@waltermh111 Wage slave? You're fucking free to leave! How dare you compare poor pay to ACTUAL SLAVERY!?!?!? Go start another business. Go work for someone else. You cannot morally force people to give you stuff if they dont want to. That is coercion. Take back the power? Good luck. Maybe, if we shrank government to the confines placed on it by the constitution we wouldnt be in this mess w the housing bubble. Government grants monopolies. Then they come up with minimum wage - your crutch. Enjoy.

Just follow the $.
Tressco 4 months ago 2
@Tressco Just use your brain. You call it slavery - to work for someone. Well, specializing according to your abilities AND the wants of the consumers (mostly consisting of the common man) has made us so very prosperous compared to what we had before which was FEUDALISM! All of our actions are controlled, but we get taken care of. This is in its essence, what communism is. Show me a functional communist society. The US isnt capitalist either, before you go there. Its a mixed economy. not good.

Theres no force to stop you besides the previous owner hunting you across the country.
waltermh111 4 months ago
@waltermh111 Well if a woman is carrying a knife to deter rapists, it is true that she is threatening any weirdo who attempts to assault her with violence, but this is defensive coercion, not offensive coercion. Offensive coercion would be if the rapist held a knife to the women's throat and demanded that she had sex with him.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 Everyone has an argument for property rights whether they like it or not. The statist argues that the state is the only entity than can own property, therefore they simply rent property out to people. This is why those who argue for the "social contract" theory believe that the state is using defensive coercion and not offensive coercion. Of course, the statist's theory of property rights is not universal and not objective, so it is a false theory of property rights.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 Either we argue that the state owns everything within it's geographical area (and therefore we are nothing but serfs) or you admit that the state is using offensive coercion, which is of course, wrong.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 We can see that offensive coercion/violence is wrong because it is universally preferred to not have someone do something to/with your property against your consent. The non aggression principle is accepted universally, however in order for us to figure out a differentiation between offensive coercion and defensive coercion, we must establish a proper theory of property rights which is objective and universal.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 We can easily argue that we each own our bodies, anyone who does something to our bodies against our consent would be guilty of offensive coercion/violence (rape, murder, assault, stealing your organs etc). We can see that we own our bodies because we have the best connection, plus it is universally preferable that we own our own bodies and have noone do something with our bodies against our consent. (Rapists don't want people to do stuff to them against their consent).
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 We now of course have to establish a proper property rights theory in regards to objects external to our body which helps reduce the amount of conflict possible and seems fair, objective and universal. This is where the homesteading principle comes in, the labour theory of property which is the principle which is based on the idea that if you mix your labour with unowned land (naturally occurring raw materials) that you now own that as your property and can do with it what you wish.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 The homesteading theory of property is also practical and has been going on for thousands of years (finders keepers). It works because the resources are the direct result of the person's labour mixed with the unowned materials. If it weren't for the labour put into the unowned resources, the outcome (the property, which is basically the means for someone to fulfil a desire) would not have come into existence.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 It also helps because if the first claimer of the property (he who mixed the labour with the unowned resources) does not have a better claim than someone who just comes along and says it's his, then the second person does not have a better claim than the third person, then the fourth person etc. It just leads to a "might means right" scenario. People would only consume what they produced in the moment, plus when you take something, you take it because you want to keep use of it.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 If a moral rule is "Anyone can take what they want!" then it is self refuting because a person who claims ownership of property claims the property so they can keep it as a means to achieve their desires, but under the moral principle of "you can take property from anyone if you want" what would happen is that you would have to constantly pass it along to the next person, otherwise you would be using offensive coercion and be in the wrong whenever you resist someone taking it.
DoctorCapitalist 4 months ago
@waltermh111 Contracts are evidence of consent and agreements. Breaking an agreement means you do something to someone against their consent, for example if two parties mutually agree to give a backrub in return for a backrub, if one person then refuses to give the backrub after recieving their backrub, then they have done something to the other person against their consent, because they only consented to giving their labour and time for a backrub in return. Their labour and time have been stole

Especially where corporate America provides "educations" that then require you be hired by a corporation.
danielvincentkelley 4 months ago
Corporate edu COULD be providing educations toward ownership of the corporations graduates then create based on the skills they learned in school. Basically they could encourage combining business and engineering degrees so there would be more business owners, but instead they provide nearly universally educations that then require people find corporate employers to issue them a pittance for corporate service, many building weapons of mass destruction, precision guided munitions and such.
danielvincentkelley 4 months ago
Obviously the cunning f*cking bastards in Washington have a f*cking lot to do with how this happened. Graham Leech Bliley act gutting the Glass Stegal Depression Protections was what set the derivatives obliteration of the economy in motion. DEFINITELY there's masses of warm politicians bodies to blame for this fkn mess. Moore, you fkn disinfo a-hole fkn corporate wh*re media darling traitorous swine lord douche bag monster demon.
danielvincentkelley 4 months ago
So TOTALLY OBVIOUSLY M.MOORE here is playing the blame game, he's going point away from the politiicians at the corporations. The Republicans are going to point at the government for not allowing the job creators to keep more of their "earnings" [sic]. The media is going to point at Americans for being so dumb to sign up for Adjustable Rate Mortgages. Schelp interviewer blames people with credit cards, have you even heard 1 story of people overspending on cc and defaulting? Me? not 1.

@Qualiamusic That MOORON doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. He doesn't want anyone touching the Fed and he wants more government.
gshooting 4 months ago
@gshooting Very true, he seems to be very knowledgable on many issues. Only through Michael did i learn about a lot of the crimes involving Iraq and afghanistan. But he wants more government and has this silly disillusion expecting the government to take care of people. But like Dr. Paul says: government can't give you anything it has to take it from someone else. Mr. Moore misunderstands the issues. We need self-regulating systems with true feedback(a free market).
Qualiamusic 4 months ago
he just thinks capitalism is evil, and i guess losing trust in self-regulation and the free market is a lot like loosing faith in humanity.

I guess Michael Moore among other people might be the power elite's pitiful attempt at giving the people a false leader and hope to divert the issues elsewhere. Spitting 95% truths and 5% lies. But i think it's not working...

@danielvincentkelley You seem to have missed the point- it's a pretty far disconnect between being unemployed and having $50million. How much money do YOU have? It's time to wake up and see how douchebags are piggybacking off the movement and making money.
doksekko 4 months ago
@doksekko
1% vs 99% is so as not to offend moderately wealthy people.
danielvincentkelley 4 months ago
@doksekko As for me, I spent 5 years living on the street, with an income of about $20 per month after I published against the congress, accusing them of mass murder for subsidizing tobacco grown in radioactive fertilizer. I published that in 2000. I was homeless and long term unemployed from 2001-2006. Now I'm on disability, by my estimation I've been disabled by taking a stand against the murderous empire. Doctors say I'm crazy for relating my publishing to my poverty.
danielvincentkelley 4 months ago
@doks I'm a highly skilled technician though, I have certification in windows administration, html, flash programming, I was a sonar tech in the Navy with a top secret security clearance, I worked for Compaq computer corporation for 3 years doing tech support. My loosing my capacity to make a living, having to live on the street after publishing against the congress accusing them of mass murder, was also paired with extreme police harassment and police brutality and numerous attempts on my life.
danielvincentkelley 4 months ago
So, I didn't miss the point. I recognize Michael Moore as thorough guilty in this corporate mess. But he's not top 1% by earnings or holdings. He's a cheap propaganda hack. I was just trying to express to you, who the top 1% REALLY are, multibillionaires, who are the most murderous people on Earth right now. Michael Moores service to those top 1% certainly submerses his heinous person in massive murderous guilt. But pretending he's a top 1% decision maker is not helpful to understanding reality.
danielvincentkelley 4 months ago
@danielvincentkelley You must have not read the response you replied to. I just clarified what I meant was merely pointing out the sizable disconnect between the average person and having $50million .

Who can survive normally under those conditions?

The harder I work the more poor I become. Should have taken a job being a millionaire or learned how to milk government entitlement programs. This in the middle stuff is becoming far too difficult.

Moore is in the 1% by dollar terms. He's been making money off political issues for years and he'll make money off the OWS events as well. Like the rest of the media, Moore pushes the left-right divide kool-aide for all the sheep to consume.

chadberry75 4 months ago
@chadberry75 Well, not really, I would much rather argue that university graduates are unaware of many of the possible careers after graduation. Unless you're in Fine Arts, where people who have Fine Arts degrees tackled with another field laugh at them. Good joke.

This Jew needs a beatin'. Nothing but Jewish propaganda here.

And who the hell are you to tell "WhenDreamsTouchFire" and his opinions holds no meanings whatsoever & the world should better without him? Michael Moore is an idiotic hypocrite at its finest along with our government. Look into what's going on overseas, in Europe. The socialist model in which government takes over the medical hasn't worked. Nothing but heavy taxation and increa
