I think you did a great job! In response to a previous poster, tickets were sold for Woodstock, but in the end, it was a free concert because tickets were not needed as they tore down then fences. The Stones were playing Sympathy for the Devil during the stabbing. Also the Grateful Dead showed up but never played after witnessing the mayhem. Some say the 60's ended the day Nixon resigned in Aug 1974.

CITE YOUR SOURCES. The beginning quote, Woodstock wasn't free. (I read 2 books on it). Brian Jones was fired from the stones June of 1969, died July 1969. This concert was after he was fired and after he had died. Mick Taylor replaced him. (I did a research paper on the rolling stones *got a 105) and also, i wouldn't be surprised if you failed. Melvin Belli did the promoting of the free concert and he choose Altamont Speedway and while Woodstock toke months to set up, this fiasco was set up in 24hrs. Many were to blame, not just the Hells Angels, but they contributed in a big way sending their prospects to work the show. Why did he come to the concert with a gun as the fact that the angels were providing security was not advertised. The stones thought that the USA version of the HA were weak but n fact were the real deal. Not long ago the Angel was acquitted by the evidence on the film the fact that Hunter drew the gun.
