  • You're a complete asshole. Yarmuth is doing well compared to most... Ron Sailor (a representative) missed 91% of the votes. You're not presenting all of the facts and you're manipulating information solely to prove a stupid point. You should spend your time doing more productive things, like looking at all of the beneficial things that Representative Yarmuth has done. He is the Freshman class president, he's on the education, and gov. committees and he's the at-large whip.

  • The only Ron Sailor I can find was found guilty of fraud.. He probably missed the votes cause he was in court.. so beating him was no real feat. Beyond that WHERE WAS JOHN when these votes occurred. The point is why is he not working. Kentucky Politicians have been carried into the house on stretchers so they would not miss a vote. What was it that kept Yarmuth from Voting? THAT's the Question.

If he is not going to be there then return the money to the people of the Commonwealth who pay to show

  • I have to agree with Jim. Actually, I will say one nice thing about Yarmuth; He is a little better than a state rep. found guilty of fraud, granted that doesn't say much. But I would like Yarmuth to tell people what he was doing last November that he missed that many votes!

  • "If he wins the election, Yarmuth has pledged to donate his congressional salary -- which would be $168,500 next year -- to local charity". This is an except from reporter Kay Stewart's article from the Courier-Journal. I wonder if he did.

  • I would hope he would disclose that at the end of the year. I haven't really heard anything about that since the election.

  • If i showed up to work 19% of the time, I would be out of a job! Get him out of there. At least put someone in that says "I'm going to vote xy" and then SHOWS UP to vote "xy!"

  • In all fairness he showed up 81% of the time.. missed 19% of the votes..but if I did that I would be fired too. Unless of course you are a government employee, they can call in sick all they want with the right doctor. Another Democratic Perk added during the Clinton Era.

  • Did he really miss that many votes? What a bum. I think he should donate that money.
