This was the last CC episode with end of show fee plugs, as Alex said they weren't on on 12/25 due to NBC special programming (Christmas in Washington aired at 10-11AM EST on Xmas day in the 80s). On 12/28/87, NBC stopped showing end of show fee plugs on game shows through 1/18/93 when the new Scrabble and Scattergories(NBC Win Lose or Draw never had end of show plugs however). When the 1987 CC episodes were aired in reruns circa 1992-1993, the fee plugs were cut out of the reruns.

I always assumed a contestant who didn't even get to play came back. Oh, well.

I think Hyhybt had this episode posted at one point. Whether it was a full episode I can't remember.

@zachhoran
It wasn't a full episode.

I guess they had a lot of time to fill in this episode with two early solves. Did they play the cash audience game on this show?

@zachhoran
That's a mystery. If only someone had the whole episode with the ending segment still intact.
