That was one aspect where the manga far out-did the anime: Ritsuka's mother.

In both versions she's mentally-ill & abusive, but in the manga it is quite apparent that she's as much a victim of her insanity as Ritsuka.

As Soubi put it: 'An abusive parent was probably an abused child..."

This.. is the best AMV I have ever seen of Loveless. The song definitely fits this series - and, yes, not just the "Sacrifice" bit either. This is probably the only AMV of Loveless that really caught my attention. Maybe because I've seen all the Loveless episodes and understand what Loveless is about. I haven't seen many good Loveless amv's, most of them are too fluffy or the clips don't match the song etc, but this.. this is something. You've got talent! Many people miss the point of the whole series and think it's a mushy love story, though honestly, I think loveless is a pretty angsty series. I mean with Seimei, Ritsuka's mother, Ritsuka's doubts about Soubi's love being real and whatnot. And I totally agree about your "only one related word" -rant. It's frustrating when people do that.

My windows movie maker does not work at all xD It freezes on me everytime I try to do something. I used the Pinnacle (was it called) before and the same thing happened o.0 Eh. xD Looks like u put a lot of time in this o.o How long did it take you?

um... maybe a few days? all my wmm amvs usually take just a few days. less than a week, i think.

i've never used (or heard of) pinnacle, before XDD My friend had the same problem with wmm, though i don't think she ever managed to fix it.

well generally people shouldn't stare at a computer at all if they're sitting in a dark room with a headache, it's very bad for your eyes, not to mention your pre-existing headache. you don't have to watch it on full screen, either. besides, the dvds only come in one format. i can't really do anything about that.

Good job! but I feel like I should tell you to save someone else the trouble. The lyrics don't match the anime terribly well. You see, the song seems to be about an abusive relationship, and while Soubi is an overaffectionate pedo, he doesn't psychically abuse Ritsuka.

i don't like it when songs have underlying messages, i just go by what i hear. the song sounded more like a mentally abusive song, so i just went with that. the amv wasn't just about soubi and ritsuka's relationship, though, i tried to focus it in on just ritsuka's struggle. thanks for the crit, though, i always appreciate that. ^^
