@weskerleon54 theres not a way to stop that. Virgin mobile offers unlimited data but they still regulate how much data is used by capping the video streaming. Doesnt make sense right? Thanx for commenting

thanks for the video man, just got this phone last week on sale.

I haven't gotten my data cable in the mail yet but once I do i'll see what hacks i can come up with. Don't know if you were on the lounge but i was the one who found the HTML code hack on there, I ended up getting $3,000 using the points glitch also. that was 2 years ago though.

one issue i found with the phone is setting a downloaded image as a wallpaper, I kept getting the image error, but i found a way around and it works.

@lmacheung sometimes that happens wHen you click install. Either the app not compatible or your phone not actualy installing it. as for youtube go to vmrumortouchdude.yolasite.com and search in the apps section you'll find youtube mobile app which has both jar and jad file zipped

The work around for the youtube streaming is to lock the fone once you see the 6% mark on your fone. (i have the LG rumor Touch) i dont know if you can lock your fone but it alwayss works for me when i want to view a video over 6 or 7 min. I watched a full movie on youtube for and hour and whenever it stoped at 6% i locked my fone and unlocked it and kept playing. hope this works (if your fone has a lock button)

@americano182 i can tell you how to add 3 party apps to your Restore step by step but angry birds doesnt work well with the Restore. The farthest i played was 1st level and it required a touch response to continue to next level which the Restore isnt touchscreen

@raizer8008 yeah once you have the .jar file you need to make a .jad file for it and store both in the APPS folder you created. There a program called jarr2jad and jadmaker youll find if you google it. Use those to make a jad file and store both JAD & JAR in the APPS folder and when in my stuff you will see the new options called Apps at the very end. I hope this helps man. Good luck

@smileydopeman when you put the sd card into the restore go to tools/settings > mass storage> file storage> memory card. Most likely your pics are in the DCIM folder if not check every folder for your pics. Once you find them select options > copy/move> select pics you want > select move> choose internal memory> DCIM> 100SSMED and your pics will move to that folder and be able to be displayed in the phones Album

i have that fone and i like it just got it today..but i have a problem with the micro sd card mine is a 2gb i use to have it on my other fone..so on my old fone i passed all the pics and music i had on my fone to the micro sd card and put it in on this one the restore but when i put it in the pics dont show but the music does like wtf..so took it cause i thought i didnt passed them so i put it on the other fone again and i did passed them so whats going on i want my pics : (

I'm having difficulties doing this. I created a folder in my MicroSD card with the name APPS. I downloaded a .jar file and saved it in the APPS folder. Now, the selection of APPS, once I go to to My Stuff, does not appear like you are showing it in this video. My stuff's last selection is Ringback Tones, not APPS. I do own the Restore from Virgin Mobile. Can you give me step-by-step instructions on how to successfully do this? Also, where can I find apps compatible with this work-around? TY!

Very good video man. I'm sure people with this phone are going to appreciate you bringing this. I hate how virgin does with the YT videos, but hey what can you do? My snaptu looses the session, but not really that much anymore. I'm sure new work arounds will come for this phone and you will bring them to YT...
