  • 1:09 A WILD CAT APPEARS !!

  • that's one big rollercoaster

  • future engineer!

  • OMFG! So cool!!

  • Cool :)

  • That is so sick it must have taken forever to make (I saw the cat lol)

  • you should make a marble race on this track!

  • i made one for school come check it out and let me know on some improvements

  • Thumbs up if you saw the cat .

  • I wonder where can I tickets? I want to be first in line in this roller coaster!!!!!!!

  • That's amazing! I wish this was a REAL roller coaster! Specificaly at Cedar Point :P

  • That's really cool -- nice job!

  • I'm done my paper roller coaster now. Go to the search and type "paper roller coaster and go down and look until you see a green funnel and a blue funnel in the background.

  • @Andygatt, I'm gonna make my own templates. I found the same paper that's a 50 pack at Michael's for $2 (on sale). Your templates online are 10 times that price so I came up with a cheaper idea.

  • 0:50-0:53 how do you make these

  • So what kind of paper did you use? I mean is it a specific type?

  • @Shoutmon287 I use "Wausau® 65lb. Astrobrights® Card Stock" for the colorful track. I also use "Wausau Paper Card Stock, 65lb, Bright White" for the white structural parts of the roller coaster. Other brands will probably work about the same.

  • At 1:38 the marble went through the supports.

  • what if you fell down the stairs? lol

  • Hi, I have to make a paper roller coaster for my 8th grade science project and i cant use tape i must use glue and i also can not use those templates is there anyway u might beable to help me with my situation please and thank you

  • @Yoshirocks17 Make sure that you build a strong structure, with plenty of diagonal supports. Check out the "gallery" on my website for ideas. See the video description for the link.

  • @andygatt Thanks for the website link although my science teacher already showed it to us i already have an idea of what it is going to look like i just dont know how to build it i guess what im asking for is that i mostly need help with turns (sharp turns) if you could help me with that, that would be so helpful and once again i must use glue :)

  • @Yoshirocks17 If you have to use glue, my templates wouldn't work. To use glue there has to be a good amount of overlap of paper. It wouldn't be easy to tell you how to make a turn without my templates and without showing you in person. But, here goes:

    1. Cut a strip of paper that's 11 inches long and about 2 inches wide. Fold it in half lengthwise. Cut 8 slits, evenly spaced, along one edge from the edge all the way to the crease. Overlap these flaps and glue. Let dry.

  • holy shit thats high

  • The new willy wanka!still that is awesome

  • And I have a question: how much I would have to pay if I want the downloable version?

  • @SFGarcia96 The downloadable templates are $20, which is about 15 Euro.

  • Where we could buy the material to make paper coasters and we would bring to Spain or buy in Spain itself? Answer me please.

  • @SFGarcia96 You could pay for a downloadable version of the templates and instructions from the website. (see the video description for the URL.) The templates are available for A4 size paper as well as American standard 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper. You would need to purchase card stock and print the templates onto the card stock. I also sell pre-printed card stock, which I only send to addresses in the United States.

  • change the title its not paper its card

  • @MsGorgeousme123 The definition of car stock: "A thick, sturdy PAPER that is available in a variety of weights; commonly used in scrapbooking and paper crafts. This paper is the thickness of most index cards and comes in many colors and textures." In other words, card stock is a kind of paper.

  • Who Ever Disliked This Is a Noob...

  • MORE VIEWS

  • thumbs up if shanesdominoez brought you here

  • SHANES DOMINOZ LIKE THIS VIDEO

  • 1:40 WHAT KIND OF BLACK MAGIC IS THIS !!

  • Thumbs up for the cat !!!

  • thats not paper thats card boared

  • @lolboy0000 It's card stock, which is just thick paper. I used 65 pound weight paper, which isn't even very stiff card stock.

  • HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, thats amazing. Make more videos!

  • Dang, I thought I was the first to do a half pipe type thing. We're doing this in physics class to demonstrate ME, and my rule for my group was no funnels lol. Nice jump, better than the one i had.

  • are you telling me that that whole thing is supported by paper?.. next year i will make one like twice as big as this

  • @TheSprice17 I look forward to seeing it. It's not very easy to make something this tall that's only standing on a one foot by one foot piece of cardboard without tipping over. If you want to make one bigger than this one, I suggest you start with a much wider base, maybe three feet by three feet.

  • @andygatt ok i might use some external supports though. maybe i could wrap it around the walls of my house so it goes down two flights of stairs

  • THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! WHOEVER MADE THAT IS THE GREATEST PAPER ROLLER COASTER MAKER EVER!!!! GREAT JOB, AND WELL DONE!

  • I saw The whole cat at 1:10-1:12

  • Hello! Impressive but

you build roller coasters with plain paper?

    Or cardboard?

    Do you keep plain paper?

    Greetings!

  • @ismaelihno I created templates that I use to build the roller coasters. I use card stock, which is stiffer than plain paper. I sell electronic versions of the templates through my website. See the video's description for the link.

  • @andygatt

¿Paper cards? I do not know which it refers.

    Can you buy that paper?

A friend of mine spent a few designs purchased from you.

Just as an opinion, to extend this hobby, you might publish the designs without the need for no cost.

With free designs, you could put advertising on its website, go to their website so more people will make money.

    Sorry for my english.

  • @ismaelihno Do a Google search for "cardstock" and you'll find plenty of examples. Also, if I gave the designs away, there's no way that advertising could make up for the loss of revenue from selling the templates. Perhaps you should suggest that idea to Microsoft. Perhaps they'll give away the next version of Windows or Office in the hopes of getting more money from advertising? Perhaps movie studios will start giving away free downloads of their movies too.

  • @andygatt

I understand, just say it would be great to extend the hobby. Of course, not send the templates, email would be for us to we printed.

  • @andygatt

By the way, one last question, the whole roller coaster is built with cardboard? Or something is built on plain paper?

Next previous topic, is not the same money that comes to Microsoft to win to win you. It's different. You can put free designs, but can send and print designs with a cost.

    Greetings!

  • @ismaelihno The base is made of cardboard. The rest is made of stiff paper, called "cardstock" in English. It's very similar to the material used in making greeting cards.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your other point regarding Microsoft. Are you using a translation service such as Google Translate? If so, it didn't do a good job with that second paragraph.

  • @andygatt

No, I am not using Google Translator.

I mean, is not equal the money you earn Microsoft with their service, that the one that wins you with his sales.

    It is quite different.

And do not cost very expensive all the papers of cardstock?

    Greetings!

  • @ismaelihno I'm still not sure what you're saying about Microsoft.

Cardstock usually costs around $15 for a pack of 250 sheets, which is enough to make about 5 large roller coasters.

  • It IS the world's greatest paper roller coaster.

  • well, i am a student making a roller coaster also but isnt it very difficult to do it? like it is a great one ! but it is going to be very difficult for me to do it... how..

  • i was happy cause i was guna print some out but then i saw i have to buy it...:(

  • How long did it take to build this thing?

  • @MilanDeJongXD I didn't really keep track of the time very well. I spent an hour or two every couple of days. It probably would have added up to about 30 hours. I know that sounds like a lot, but I figured that it would be a good advertisement for selling my kits.

  • how do you make the turns go so smooth

  • That's sick

  • suprised the cat is not climbing on it

  • were do you design them

  • @paperconstuctor1 I designed the templates a few years ago to use with my students. Now I sell them on my website. See the video's description for the link.

  • How did you do it? That was sick

  • i bet it'd be cooler if you had multiple tracks on it. :3

  • @mahorosan1 I have made roller coasters with more than one track. The only problem is that it's difficult to follow the marble in a video when there's more than one track. It's very confusing for the person watching the video. I made this coaster specifically so I could film it and put it on the internet. That's why I only made one track.

  • how do you make that paper sprial and the thing that go up and down can you show me how to make it please

  • how do you make that paper sprial

  • @paperconstuctor1 I designed the templates and now I sell them on my website. See the description of the video for the URL. I sell the templates and detailed instructions showing you how to make each piece and how to put them together.

  • This is actually an exercise machine in disguise if youre running up and down the stairs to reset the marbles

  • @7Somerset LOL

  • big

  • HEY I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT YOU SHOULD MAKE A RUDE GOLDBERG MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @shellshockx115 I did! search for "goldberg" in my channel. You should find the two videos that I posted of the Rube Goldberg machines that I built with my son.

  • look who has to much time on there hands XD jk dude this is one of the most amazing youtube vids ever!!!!!

  • whoa!

    incredible

  • Your so talented and excellent!!!! Its so good to see someone who dosent spend ALL their time playing video games!!!!!!! Thx for posting, True Art!

  • You are awesome at making this

  • at 38 sec, that stair case like thingy, is that from a template or is that just brain made, if its from a template, which one cause i like that trick

  • @CandieeLoVa23 See the video response that I made called "How to make paper roller coaster steps." It shows you how to use the "loop" template to make steps. Let me know if you can't find it. I'm glad you liked the steps.

  • @andygatt oh thnkx.. i just watch it and its awesome.... ur templates really make things easier... and neater

  • What a giant!

    Beautiful tower!

    How long is the rail?

just look on my marble track :-)

  • @Unreal905 I don't know how long the track is. If you stretched it out, it would probably be 20 meters long. I checked out your marble track. It's very cool. It looks very strong and carefully made.

  • @andygatt

Thank you, the total length of my train is 26.5 meters, but was also a lot of work ...

've upped the ante by 100 kilos, is really state subsidy

But the size is unbeatable for you!

  • I'm sorry. I did something I should not have done. Please forgive me. I think I abused the replay button. :(

  • how did you make that big blue slide at 0:57 seconds? please respond fast!

  • @nateshelala I made a video response explaining how I made that part. Look for "Roller Coaster Half Pipe" in the video responses above. I never made a template for this piece.

  • @andygatt thanks so much! i ran out of ideas, and i saw this awesome coaster and my jaw dropped

  • seriously!!! how did it went there I wanna know because its so cool!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The best

  • Andygatt how long will it take to come to my house. I ordered it on Saturday March 19,2011

  • @Kurko542 It was sent out today through USPS Priority Mail. You should get it Wednesday or Thursday.

  • @andygatt Okay thanks but what comes in it like curve track and what else?

  • @Kurko542 The eleven templates are: 1. columns 2. beams 3. diagonal supports 4. "shelves" - those are the pieces that stick out sideways and give a place for tracks to be attached 5. brackets - for attaching the tracks to the structure 6. straight track 7. wide curves 8. tight curves 9. loop 10. funnel 11. merge - for joining two tracks together
  • @andygatt Thanks Andy I just got in in the mail yesterday and I have to copy it on card stock.

  • @chickenster Thanks for noticing! It wasn't easy to get good footage the whole way down.

  • Hey Andygatt!!!! Can you email the templates? because I want to make a paper roller coaster with your templates. Please reply.

  • @ZennsWorld Sorry dude.
