We have extensively characterized water coming out of the reactor. People have asked for anything from arsenic to perchlorates.
I see no mechanism and no market as there are many other cheaper techniques available that already work and are used for municipal sources and bottled water today such as:
•Reverse Osmosis Filtration
•Activated Alumina Defluoridation Filter
They are relatively expensive $30 and offer an option for home water filtration
No doubt cavitation, similar to ultrasound, can have an effect on microbes, but I see no mechanism that would allow it to affect fluride. Cavitation can help speed-up an already existing chemical reaction, but generallt cannot be responsible for a reaction itself except for some very extreme circumstances and to a very small extent.
The unit is capable of producing steam and hot water, however it generally isn't the most economic option for commodity heating applications when compared to conventional boiler technology.

Does the cavitation wear out the rotor?

No, the device is designed in such a way to be sure the cavitation is controlled and non-damaging to the equipment.

What's this? is it a strobed-light video or a slow-motion? please give some more details ;)

There is a strobed-light at the same frequency as the rotor to create the optical illusion of a "still" rotor to your eye.

very good video.
