i saw the movie with Julie Andrews (absolutely loved it one of my personal faves now) and I believe Sutton's Performance was terrific! not like that silly bitch Amanda Holden.

I downloaded the soundtrack of the play and Sutton sings INCREDIBLE!!! is really fantastic! i really loved gimme gimme and Jimmy.

@veronihika I LOVE the movie. I saw the movie WAAY before I ever heard of the play (it wasn't created yet, lol) but I have to say the way the play is done is much better than the film. Especially because Millie is not supposed to have a british accent though I still love Julie the most.

Had this segment not been all about Meredith and her "Broadway debut", they might have looked at Sutton's resume...

actually,,,,,annie wasn't broadway - it was community theater. and les mis was the national tour although thats the same as broadway standards.

Actually slushiesushi, her stints in BOTH Annie and Les Mis WERE on Broadway. She performed in the National Tour of Les Mis, but she was also a member of the Broadway cast at one point. The way, National Tours are NOT necessarily the same standard as Broadway. Before "correcting" others, you should get your facts straight.

sutton shoud be thoroughly angered. I know i'd be pissed off if some TV talk show host got my final bow, no matter if i get that bow eight times a week. You get that last bar for a reason, and she totally deserves it. Meredith had what, 3 lines? Lame. Sutton should have still gotten the last bow. Meredith could come out with ensemble, like she was.
