Good rescue! Every spring we get many orphaned or abandoned ducklings at our hospital. Sometimes well-meaning people pick up ducklings, not knowing that mom is hiding close by. Best to walk out of sight and give mom a chance to gather her brood. In this case, the ducklings were in danger. Thanks for your good work. By the way, never feed wildlife, especially not "milk creams" :) People food is not good for ducks. Five stars!
Everybody let the ducklings go right back in the neighborhood after I instructed them not to, and we had to get them a second time. There's just too many cats in my hood, and I thought they'd never make it to the creek. The other bad thing was that my BF took the camera off the ducks right when the neighborhood guys made their move. The county guy was good for absolutely nothing!
You are a great person and I love your videos. God blesses each of us with talents, yours is compassion and brains :) I am proud to know you, even if it is through youtube xoxoxo from Maine
I heard that Microsoft has created some robotic ducks that are trained as storm drain spies. They travel by storm drain to different neighborhoods and send tiny recorders up into toilets so that the mother duck can transmit vital information back to headquarters about terrorist activities. They look quite realistic. Animal services has been warned not to interfere with their activities. Good job kids. Now the ducklings circuit boards are all wet and can't function as spies any more!
We have a group of ducks in our neighborhood. They cross a very busy street to the Aviara hotel's property from the batiquitos lagoon and back. One day something like this will happen, or worse, get run over by a car. Glad you guys save the ducklings, they are adorable.
Great video and acts of kindness Fer! That was one smart mother duck. Maybe you can update us in a future video. What cute babies....they can really scoot in the water.
Well isn't that something? Daisy duck had to babysit Huey, Lewie and Dewey and whoever the other 3 were so where was Donald? =p Just kidding. Nice to see you all were all good Samaritans. =D
Great Video Fer!! I Remember Driving and at 1 corner I just barely saw Them Luckily..the mom and 3 Ducklings crossed the Street In Front Of me.. Its Unbelievable!!!They made it across!!!

Thank you! Worst parts about the rescue:
Everybody let the ducklings go right back in the neighborhood after I instructed them not to, and we had to get them a second time. There's just too many cats in my hood, and I thought they'd never make it to the creek. The other bad thing was that my BF took the camera off the ducks right when the neighborhood guys made their move. The county guy was good for absolutely nothing!
Thanks again ~ Fer

I lover the Abbey Road-esque shot of mama duck crossing the street with the sun behind it. Very artistic. I'll give this seven ducks.
