At 0:17, do you hear the HL2/Gmod weapon switch sound? (Only one weapon in Portal!)

Also, right at the end you hear a HL2 grenade being dropped.

That weapon switch was all thanks to typing impulse 101 in console, with sv_cheats 1 on. How to set-up Portal multiplayer is widely known and already confirmed, just by searching "How to play portal on multiplayer" here on Youtube. You can also do the same with a simple Google search for Portal multiplayer and get a flood of people trying it out. I'll be removing any more dumb comments from you about how this was fake if you decide to keep it up.

Also, the cut scene isn't from the game. It was a custom Demo Smoother demo that I made myself. The Demo Smoother tool is provided in all Source games.

If you would spend some time, you can search in Google and find out how it's done. In the meantime, chill out. There's no need for name-calling which it's something as simple as a web video.

To clear your confusion up: No games are ever perfect, including Valve's. Portal was never intended for multiplayer use, and my friend and I got to use that feature without hacking but rather with console commands provided by Valve themselves.

Second, Garry's Mod doesn't have any game textures. It mounts content from the other Source games. That also applies to the explosion impacts. The level is a Portal map, which we loaded in Portal.

Another thing, replying to the creators previous comment - when valve release games they are never buggy. They are tested hundreds of times before release to prevent retards like you from 'hacking it', which you obviously DIDN'T!

This is Garry's Mod with a spawned NPC.

Portal and Garry's Mod is first person, unless you sv_cheats 1 / thirdperson in console.

Second of all it is impossible to 'hack' portal to create multiplayer. There is NO possible way to make Portal multiplayer.

They still both use the same server setup. All you have to do in Portal is override the max players when the engine starts up (Or else it sets it to 1), and then do a direct IP connect.

Nah, this was all in Portal right after being released, so it was pretty buggy. Me and a friend managed to set up multiplayer in Portal which was super buggy, and also that first shot done in Demo Smoother was also having some issues.
