I am impressed with your kids. They are quite the good speakers for their age. They are more brave than me, I confess. I feel fear when I go to a gay bar with a friend. I feel fear that someone might hurt me even though I am straight. That is a horrible thing to feel, since I love my friend. Do your children ever feel personal fear when out, like someone might hurt them because their moms are lesbians?
Yes I do River. It's a horrible pain that I was never prepared for, and I have found that there is no way to make the fear end. You know , just the other day I was at the mall and while walking around I saw a gay couple.
Honestly , it made me smile !
Seeing two people being open about their relationship.
But when I stopped I heard a child , A child ! Say
"Wow , their gay !"
And his mother laughted.
It's amazing the two hugely seperate feelings those two caused.
But it's also sad.
That child and his mother could learn a thing or two form your kids.

Great video, Great Children! Your kids are more sophisticated than many adults on this issue. So shame on those adults, but kudos to your kids! Equality is long overdue, and suffered a setback in California. But it is in the air, isn't it? Noel and Dakota, you have an enlightened mom--and she's a fighter! :)

I am impressed with your kids. They are quite the good speakers for their age. They are more brave than me, I confess. I feel fear when I go to a gay bar with a friend. I feel fear that someone might hurt me even though I am straight. That is a horrible thing to feel, since I love my friend. Do your children ever feel personal fear when out, like someone might hurt them because their moms are lesbians?

Yes I do River. It's a horrible pain that I was never prepared for, and I have found that there is no way to make the fear end. Except for teaching them self love, respect for themselves, and a strong believe that humanity has the best of intentions regardless of that it can feel like it doesn't. Thank you my friend.

Its true that gays are Discriminated As proof nobody really says Thats Black or your So Mexican. but Honestly I feel that gay men Are even treated less because If people see To girls making out It may be more socially accepted. But I apologize since I really Don't know whats its like.
