i love this if they had not been able to save the hostages they would blame him, but since he saved them form psychos who would butcher them without thinking and their suing for excessive force, ha also i love how the damages to the store are more important than saving people from thugs who had brutally murdered another man, fucking crazy worthless ass imbeciles, Harry is the only kind of cop we need.
controversyking -- Typical braindead dumbed-down stupid-and-proud-of-it horseshit comment youtube is famous for. HA!
@starmanskye brain dead? stupid and proud of it?ill tell u who is stupid: an idiot who cannot tell the difference between street crime and financial fraud committed in banks and corporate offices...that would be YOU starFEMskye...
The main police examiner in this movie is also the attorney in Sudden Impact. I love how Clint gets after Mrs. Grey. I hope she likes it with a shetland pony.
Callihan is a classic by saying Mrs. Grey is fucking a shetlen pony for 5 bucks. What a cheap fuck, but then someone would be thrown in jail for cruelty to animals 'cause Mrs. Grey is a dog.
@Anonymous1226 We need more cops like Harry Callahan, he is willing to do his job and stands up to the upper brass who sit on their asses. It is Liberals the reason why cops and other law enforcement are afraid to do their jobs.
Hypithetical Situation huh? , Alright im standin on the street corner, and mrs. Grey there comes up and propositions me,that if i come home with here for 5 dollars she'll put on an exibihtion with a shetland pony.
Look at the awful rug on the guy's head next to Clint. Look at around 1:30 you can clearly see the line around the back of his head. As if it wasn't obvious enough in front with a hairline a 17 year old could hardly match no less a guy well into his 50s.
Personnel is for assholes and so is features. Features is the most annoying department on a newspaper even though Nichi does it well. I was punished by being transferred from Opinion to Features which is for assholes. When you can work on Opinion (the best), News, Sports, Front Page, Design, but instead you are assigned to Business or Features which are both are for assholes.
@controversyking Sad to say, Mr. King, you are not, and likely will never be one of those white conservative men in charge of the legislative or judicial functions in this country. Therefore, your words would mean nothing but noise in the ears of those men.
You can go back to manning the fryer at Burger King, now.
Harry's angry comment about how a woman inspector could get her partner killed is both prophetic and ironic considering the fate of Officer Moore, who was partnered with HIM when she died. I like Harry but I have to ask: would she have been killed if she'd been partnered with someone a little less recklessly macho? More to the point, why is it white male cops can get injured or die in the course of duty without having their competency or right to be in uniform challenged?
@TheCatgirl6 While you ponder this question, you might also consider the following: A friend of mine was a Captain in Phildelphia PD internal affairs for over 30 years. He said one of the biggest problems they had was female officers resorting to shooting suspects as a first resort rather than as a last resort. Seems the problem was, since they could not physically restrain uncooperative suspects they found it easier just to kill them; generating that huge backlog of IA cases.
@cov01crew That's troubling, I agree. But did your friend offer you any percentages regarding this problem? I mean, were ALL female officers doing this or just the more physically delicate and less seasoned/competent ones? And since we can be reasonably sure that not all male cops are equal in height, physical strength, experience or competency, how many of them were doing similarly stupid and reckless things that contributed to IA headaches? Just pondering.
@TheCatgirl6 working in the ER, victims of domestic violence are some of our best customers...when a woman gets beaten up by her man, it's usually blunt trauma if that, a lot of emotional abuse....when a woman abuse a man, it's usually the man getting shot, knifed, run over by the car, burned....
@TheCatgirl6 he didn't mean she would get her partner killed becasue she was a girl but becasue she is green, she has no experience, and becasue of that she and or her partner could be compromised. The thing with officer Moore is proof that even veteran cops can get in over their head, or be caught in deadly situations, and yes maybe Harry can be a bit reckless, but it's only becasue he does what other cops are too afraid to do, that people are saved.
Clint makes a perfect observation about the whole subject of bringing the women into it. "what gives her the right to become an inspector when there are cops on the street for 15 or 15 years?" Even in the current times feminists complain about women who have been in a job for a long time being passed over in favour of a hotshot young guy with no experience. It is an interesting point as to whether any would object to the situation shown. A female rookie or a male veteran when they get mugged?
@katchanga True, that-- though to her credit, Officer Moore actually doesn't handle herself badly once she DOES get out there; she does manage to win Harry's respect by the end, although his words about getting her ass blown off if she fails out there prove prophetic. To me, it just makes Harry's going after Maxwell with the LAW rocket that much more powerful.
Oh, and Harry's verbal smackdown of Ms. Grey? Crowning. Moment. Of. Awesome. And with a badass like Harry...that's going some.
I was the only one in the theater that laughed through the entire interrogation scene. Classic Dirty Harry at his finest! Happy 80th Birthday, Clint!
Inspector Harry Callahan is the type of cop we need today. I like this scene with Lt. McKay and the personel scene. Harry makes out a lot of great points here.
Bloody brilliant, and my god, what a fucken mole that ms Grey was, who the fuck does she think she is, no wonder policing of today is so weak, the laws and powers of police got eaten away by do gooders and parasites longer than i though.
Funnier than most comedies.

The world needs more people like Callahan. Less incompetent law enforcement on the street = great news for all citizens.
