  • I saw at the beginning of "The Lion King" trailer was the April 1994

  • I remember seeing at the beginning of "The Lion King" trailer was back in the June 1994

  • AMC Theatres - Reviews Trailer (1988-1994)

  • so awsome to see again

  • I wish AMC in Mercado and Cupertino show this one before the trailers instead of that current one.

  • I remember the AMC Westroads 8 in Omaha back in the days but now we have 2 AMC's in West Omaha and Council Bluffs. I miss going to AMC.

  • This definitely did not run until 1995. I recall seeing the following trailer, posted on YouTube as "AMC Theatres Previews Trailer (1994-1995)" at AMC in 1994, which was verified by another YouTube user.

  • @Reed488

This CGI does look very late-80s.

You sure about it premiering in 1994?

  • @KentuckyFriedGunman I never said that it did premiere in 1994. To the contrary, as you can see in my reply to Justiel12's comment on this video, which has since been removed, I pointed out that there is no way that this trailer debuted in 1994, as I myself posted the AMC Theatres previews trailer which, as verified by others YouTubers, was running as of 1994/1995. Search ""AMC Theatres Previews Trailer (1994-1995)" here on YouTube.

  • I think I remember seeing this bumper before the previews of "The Little Mermaid" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" at the Metro North Mall Theater in Kansas City. I was only 3 at the time, but I kind of remember it because of that music.

  • Good for you for having that good of a memory.

  • It's one of my earliest :P

  • @Reed488 I remember my first trip to the movies too! :D

  • What is the difference?

  • I'm getting the drift that you are joking with me on my videos, but I will give you an honest answer anyways. The difference is that they, unlike their competitors, provide a great movie going experience (comfortable theatres with a good sound system, courteous service, and tasty concessions) at a good price.

  • And that's such a great difference, too. I remember visiting an AMC theater in Dallas a number of times, and it was awesome! I also went to a dollar theater that was once a Cinemark, but they kept the old continuity. No FRJ, I'm afraid.
