  • around 34 secs, you took off a piece of metal that was adhered to the broken glass on the top of the ipod. I didn't see you put it back in. In other videos I have watched, I didn't see them put it back either! Is it necessary? I have fixed mine, but dont want to glue it together w/o the metal piece, if I need it...any thoughts?

  • My ipod 4g ,wont start up ? i can't start up or connect or reset my ipod ? its a black death screen ? .how can i fix it ?

  • hey how can i fix my home button?!

  • Hi, I just replaced my iTouch 4G LCD+ digitizer it went great initially. I had the new screen on and working fine, but after I tried to press it back into place all these lines showed up on my screen :( Any help? Thanks!

I'll put a video of the issue up on my channel soon...

  • how much is the ipod screen for?! Also, do i necessarily need to buy the digitizer?! :S

  • how do you put it back together after the adhesive is gone?

  • why did you buy lcd and digi separate? they can come as one and you avoid the dust.

  • So glad i found this video :) btw u know when u lift the motherboard up ( 2.33 on the vid) and connect the new digitizer (nt sure if thats the right name) for the new screen does it damage any other components when u lift it up that far?? and also is it necessary to have the copper sheet piece wrapped around it? :)

  • fuck, that song make me to break more my iPod screen

  • do you need to use the 3m glue to stick the digitilizer and lcd screens together

  • wait answer this really fast please i order the new screen today , so little black strip just cut it off ?? cause i dont want to do anything with it < so i just want a 100% answer if it should be cut off or not

  • where do you bought the parts?

  • where do you got the parts from?

  • how do you disconnect the LCD from the digitizer

  • @Michael11009 The LCD and Digi are sealed together from the factory. These cannot be separated. They have two separate connections that unplug easily. Replace with a new digi and lcd.

  • which glue needs to be used to place the new lcd + digitizer ?

  • @ilikejumpstyle I used a special 3M double sided glue. Search ebay for it.

  • @jonnyfury do you need to use adhesive if so what kind of adhesive?

  • Goddamn your quick lol

  • @TheTuktuk42

lol He fast forward the video dude.

  • You are very talented on fixing electronic devices but you need a good cameraman. :)

I screwed power button flex cable, wireless antenna and the LCD screen while trying to disassembly. Be careful guys.

  • @afakethrum I just used my iphone and put it on top of a box looking down on the table. Yes you need to be very careful as those cables are very delicate and are not easy to replace!

  • @jonnyfury For now, i have just removed the screen to see how it is inside and CAN'T EVEN snap back the screen connector. At least, how do i snap it back? I have a broken glass screen. Should i really attempt replacing it? You make it look easy, but many people say to not even try, or i could risk breaking something. Thanks!! :D

  • on the back of that metal plate behind the digitizer that copper wire square thing lol whats that for because mine is snaped in half

    plz respond

  • @jacobfare12 It's just a sheild. It does nothing, throw it away.

  • how much did your screen cost you and did u use the same lcd screen or did u have to get a new one?

  • @trealsoullja your digitizer screen?

  • @trealsoullja Always use a new one. Search ebay.

  • I used the existing glue inside the iPod. Sometimes I will use new glue if needed.

  • hi can u tell me if u used any kind of tape to hold it back into place ?
