A video worth watching, the best review yet, nice one chaps! (Well I am Engish) Twins or camera trick! either way, we have just purchased one with underwater housing, lets see the other cam do that without it costing a small fortune. Oh yeh! we do have a cannon XM1 but need a lightweight cam for Maldives holiday to cover underwater etc, it is for my girlfriend to use, simple, quick, no nonsense.

Why dont they compare this camera to Canon digital cameras, and not the 1990's camera? Come on! Compare it to Canon 1100! And see which is better :) and the two are like the same price these days!!!!!

the ultra hd has a rechargable batt. pack it comes with it also will take aa regular batteries, it takes a long time to charge so the aa option is nice

My flip came with a rechargeable battery pack that charges when it's plugged into the usb but if i'm out and the battery runs low I can pop in some spare AAs - one of the major selling points for me.

Some of these features make the product worse.

I'd rather have a charger than batteries.

And I would rather have a wire connecting to the usb instead of the flippy thing, due to the fact that my usb is on the side, so it may damage it.

yah i don't the connection either but i just went and bought a usb extension thing... it was a dollar at the dollar store and it works fine... i also agree with the charger part... but it's still a great camera for the price

You can do stuff like that with professional video software like Sony Vegas. All you do is take two videos and crop them size to size.

flip video cameras suck they have the smallest shelf life ever. Me and all my friends have had flips, and they all lasted for less than a year. Mine just broke on monday.

Delete stuff after u put it on your pc or make dvd's or videos of it. Then bam you have more space again.

Very nice review, and the most entertaining one I've seen so far. The flip sounds like the perfect companion for everyday outings and footage, and while I'm very satisfied with my Panny Mini DV camcorder, I am seriously thinking about getting a Flip Ultra for spontaneous stuff.
