My unit, 1138th MP (MONG) came home through Bangor on our first trip accross the pond in 03. These folks actually do this, and DESERVE credit for it. At the end of the handshake line is a couple people handing out cell phones, with instructions to call home and tell our family's that we are HOME!!!! VERY POWERFUL MESSAGE HERE,,,,, AND I WILL BE ENTERNALY GRATEFUL,,,,,,,,, TO THE PEOPLE OF BANGOR MAINE,,,,

OMG... My fiance just went back to Iraq last saturday from leave i was hoping he will b back with everyone else but they have 2 stay back there 3 more months. I am so happy for the soldiers the are back and their family. I love my soldier i just have 2 b strong.

@SuperNini26 my bf is going to be deployed sometime within the next 7 months...He's been deployed to Iraq twice but not while I was with him...I'm nervous about it...It's good to hear from women who have been through it and are positive like you.
