In my opinion, Jim Abrahams and the Zucker-brothers here, with of course great help from Leslie Nielsen and the other actors, have created the answer for comedy. These jokes are simple, yet so genius. I'm glad Leslie Nielsen can forever be a part of my family for as long as I live, because the DVDs of the Airplane-movies, Naked Gun-movies etc, will always be in my shelf until I die. The sad truth is that Leslie Nielsen was the perfect person. He was a funny, kind person who never harmed others. He took his work seriously (hard to believe :D) and made so many others happy. He never abused his body and died, after a long and successful life, peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by friends and family. And thats the best you can hope for from anyone on this planet.
