@directimpact69 - you do realise that the Acura NSX and the Honda NSX are the same car? There is no actual difference between them? The only reason Honda sold the NSX under the Acura brand was just for marketing reasons.
If anything the US Acura NSX will have been remapped with less power output compared to the rest of the world due to the crappy octane fuel you have.

My buddy has an old NSX, he supercharged it, regeared the gearbox so it's much faster off the line, tightened up the suspension, and got all new brakes (all major upgrades).... I've never had so much fun. The only way I can describe driving that car is that it gives you the same feeling that firing a machine gun does..kinda scary, giddy with power, and a "just try and fuck with me attitude" ;-)

stupid driver, should be changing up gears quicker, not reving it out in every gear, it has the torque to deal with an earlier change, and it would increase its speed quicker too!
In response to the video explanation up top this car did indeed make around 550rwhp when it was completely done. I know the shop that did it and who built and tuned it and I have sat in it. It was nuts fuckin fast but had more money in it than you could shake a stick at lol. Nothing was spared on it from the Motec EM to the fully forged bottom end etc. etc. Great car tho. Probably done nicer than most I have seen.

Nsx's stock has 400hp, it's just a simple fuel injected v6. This was one of the cars on the 100 cars you must drive show, It's called the poor man's Ferrari for obvious reasons.
What the hell were you smoking when you wrote that?! C30A's only put out around 270 bhp and the C32B's put out around 290 bhp. I don't know where you heard that a stock NSX produced 400 horsepower, but I assure you it's terribly wrong. The NSX was originally designed to compete against early model Ferrari's like the 348 and 355, but is not a "poor man's Ferrari" of any kind.

I'm defending the NSX. Ricer does not refer to a car being Japanese. It refers to the mods that are done to it (big wing, stickers, neon lights, and other nasty shit). Even an American car can be riced out. For instance, I see a lot of riced out Mustang's that look hideous. The driver of the riced out car is considered the "ricer."
hey i have a question, did you rebuilt your engine before you install the turbo kit? or is the engine strong enough to handle that much psi? i know some cars you have to rebuilt the engine to get more hp (300-600 hp) thanks
It was made for almost 15 years without many cosmetic changes so it's deffo done its's time.
The only went out of production about 3/4 years ago i think so they aint all that old to be honest. If your based in the UK then your best off getting one imported from Japan.
They stopped production on the Acura NSX because it didn't sell very well due to its high price tag. But after about 15 years, I think its had its fair share of publicity. They ended production of the Acura NSX in 2005. If I remember right though, the Honda NSX is still being produced.
actually. Acura is more of the luxury dedicated side of Honda, even though Honda itself has some luxury cars. But Acura has most of them.

My buddy has an old NSX, he supercharged it, regeared the gearbox so it's much faster off the line, tightened up the suspension, and got all new brakes (all major upgrades).... I've never had so much fun. @Timothayyy - i had a 3.2TLS.... and I now own an NSX. Amazing they both had the same exact engine. The TLS was peppy, the NSX is a rocket (stock).

hey i have a question, did you rebuilt your engine before you install the turbo kit? or is the engine strong enough to handle that much psi? i know some cars you have to rebuilt the engine to get more hp (300-600 hp) thanks

It was made for almost 15 years without many cosmetic changes so it's deffo done its's time.
The only went out of production about 3/4 years ago i think so they aint all that old to be honest. If your based in the UK then your best off getting one imported from Japan.

in 2010 the nsx will be coming back out but named hsx and it will be a 10 cyl

They stopped production on the Acura NSX because it didn't sell very well due to its high price tag. But after about 15 years, I think its had its fair share of publicity. They ended production of the Acura NSX in 2005. If I remember right though, the Honda NSX is still being produced.
