And on the rescue front, though the drones can't, Sikorsky just unveiled plans to make an autonomously piloted helicopter.. so. ah.. in a way a drone CAN actually drop off and pick up men and equipment. The reason there are no Russians in Afghanistan is that they faught a mountain war that wore down the will to fight because those hitting you were invisible.

We have gunships to do the job. The F-14 was never designed to hit foot soldiers, it was designed to be the king of long range interceptors.. and in it's day.. it was. They designed the airframe specifically so that it could carry an extra 2 phoenix missiles under the center. Targeting 16 targets at the same time.. meaning none of those 16 knew who was going down.. and armed with a missile that if it missed you would turn around and have another go..or follow you to the pavement.

'Terrorist' is a catch-all phrase to describe anyone who opposes the Feds these days. The people who did 9/11 are dead for the most part & there never was that many of them to begin with. Of course what they did was sickening, but the Feds have over-reacted. They invaded Iraq which had nothing at all to do with 9/11. Estimates are that about a million people have died there b/c of the Feds invasion. They invaded Afghanistan too which wasn't responsible for 9/11. It's ridiculous.

I'm not speaking about Muslim immigrants in western Europe and America. I lived in Europe for 4 years and saw the situation there. Immigration policy is a different issue, as I see - and one we need to re-think. What I'm speaking about is going out and bombing, engaging in nation-building, propping up foreign regimes, etc on the other side of the planet. We need to leave those people alone and worry about our own problems - which are inded very grave.

Uh, no. Official Iraqi estimates put the number of civilian dead at 68,000. Not 1+ million. The majority of which were caused by the islamofascists whether directy by kidnapping them and cutting their heads off or blowing them up in a market while they shopped for food or indirectly by using civilians as human shields. And Afghanistan was under the islamist sword of the taliban who offered safe haven to the international terrorists who attacked us on 9/11. Hence the entire regime had to go. Dur.

They were created by the Pakastani ISI and then they invaded Afghanistan in the 1990s and overthrew the local government and oppressed the native Afghans with a barbaric version of strict sharia law. The Taliban are the largest and most popular force among the Pastun people - the majority of the country. Meanwhile, the puppet US government there is run by the minority Tajiks with a few bought and paid for puppets of the other groups in the country - none of which have much support outside of the capital.
