Thanks so much rocktard, you made a middle-aged guy's evening! I was listening to this when it was fresh and I was 22. Brilliant stuff, except it was never played on radio.; only Kill the Cowboy which got some air and MuchMusic rotation.
Miss these guys dreadfully....where's all the new good music?
I saw these guys back in 93 they opened for Voivod and I happened to catch one their cd's they through into the crowd, witch was'nt hard to do since there really wasnt that many people there maybe about 150 people but it did'nt matter to me all the bands kicked ass and this band stayed with me through out the years just could'nt forget this music they fkn rock.
great band , we used to do a cover of kill the cowboy with my band.music still holds up well today.brings back some memories for sure .one of many underrated bands along with, standford prison experiment ,maggie's dream,ny loose, dgeneration, just to name a few
We must open our "musical mind" or learn about music business.
This guys in the '80s formed Berlin (Terri Nunn, what a pretty girl!). In the '90s the musical scene was changed to "grunge", anyway The Big F-IS remain a good work.
The Big F has and will always be one of the most underrated bands ever....I'm happy that people haven't forgot. Way ahead of their time and it still sounds as good today as it did back then. One of my favorite bands ever!
if you guys are liking this band as much as I am- i have gone thru 3 copies of their debut cd over the years- but finally found their vids today!-- you should check out KYUSS. long gone- like the big f- see who rocked harder- its no easy contest- but both bands are amazing- long live the big f( even thought they broke up in 1992!) does anyone have their second cd?
It's a sad story, I waited months for the second album to arrive as a US import, only to have it stolen along with a bunch of other CDs about 4 weeks later. During those 4 weeks I thrashed hell out of it though, it was fantastic.
More balls and crunch. Much more heavy in that de-tuned syrupy ooze out of the speakers kinda way. Big f are great but more "modern" than Kyuss, less Sabbath.

Try to name one "current" band which kicks half as much ass as THE BIG F kicked. I bet you can't think of any. I can't either.
