  • there is a shortage of workers

  • Biblically, we can’t make a case for seeking to be martyrs for the cause of Christ. Martyrdom is a great privilege if it is inevitable, but it is not to be sought. Jesus said, “When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next” (Matthew 10:23).

  • @JustKimberly1992 Reading through the book of Acts, we see that the early church continually fled from intense persecution In Matthew 10:39, He is not calling for people to make an attempt to lose their lives. Rather, He is calling us to be willing to lose our lives for His sake.

  • @JustKimberly1992 "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

  • Good video. There are apparently three different accounts of Bartholomew's death: 1) inverted crucifixion, 2) beating followed by drowning, and 3) the most widely accepted account, which included flaying followed by beheading.

  • "Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace" - Romans

Christians today are the remnant, we came from a long line of believers. Be Proud; not of man, but of God.

  • I thought Philip was hung upside down by iron hooks from his ankles?

  • The world and God is so unfair..the crusaders and the persecution of other religious community by christians are often forgotton.

I hope God can help those people who are being persecuted by violent Christians.

  • @nusld

The True Christian Religion: Self sacrfice for others, love thine enemies, do good to those who hate you.

The no one have killed in the name of Christ and His words. The crusades pervertd Christianity, all those who killed supposedly for Christian values did not practice Chrstian values

  • because i know death is not the end :)

  • The funny thing is that all of these people died.... for an imaginary friend in the sky. And, if "God" is so great, why didn't he prevent the Holocaust? And don't say "But he works in mysterious ways-" Because you probably wouldn't be thinking that if you were one of the people getting pushed into an oven.

  • you can't see because for you, death is the end.

  • @ MerlinAndMorgan: Yes, death is when all bodily areas cease to function, so death IS the end. And why shouldn't it be? Do people really need a promise of eternal heaven JUST to be happy in life? It's not that I'm against religion, but most of it's so inventive and self fulfilling. In simpler terms: What if I'm right and you're wrong?

  • @darknut79 we cant be wrong when we experience a life with God for real. when jesus said "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you" he wasnt kidding. Miracles happen everyday, even today in a way a person who does not know God cant see. When you walk with God and understand whats beyond this world, the things of this world lose sense, so we become crazy and blind to this world,

  • @darknut79 and so the world becomes blind and crazy to us, cause we walk the path or truth. It sounds fanatic when reading or hearing this, but actually it is really simple. God has his word and Jesus defines himself as a person whos at your house knocking at the door. He doesnt go entering and kicking everything.. he knocks, hes polite. If you invite him in, he goes in. It takes one step of faith, one 'opening the door' to truly know God. So the world we live in does not recognize God,

  • @darknut79 because God is not in it. God is inside everyone whos has accepted him, confesses Jesus as his Son and savior of the ppl and asks (open the door) 'Jesus please enter my heart because i want to be yours'. So, as christians, we follow his commandments which are stablished by Him for what should be a good life in his eyes, we try to not Sin, since we still are sinners, and by His grace we are saved thru his Son, Jesus. Thats what christianity is about.

  • @darknut79 and i would be gladly pushed into an oven for Jesus, cause hes not imaginary duh -.- He is alive, he does work in misterious ways, he does speak to my heart, he IS present in my life, he DOES support me in everything AND HE LETS ME SUFFER IN THIS LIFE so i can be patient and grow up and get mature in all stuff he teached, which is patient and love above all, but he always supports me. All this persecution is already expected and happy are those which are persecuted because of Jesus.

  • @ MerlinAndMorgan: "Happy are those which are persecuted because of Jesus"?! Hitler claimed to be doing the work of God by eliminating Jews, Gypsies, Mental Retards, Homosexuals, etc. from Germany. Are you saying they were HAPPY to be gassed and burned? Additionally, Napolean claimed to be doing the work of God by killing.... were his victims HAPPY to die? HAPPY to be massacred? THAT'S certainly an interesting take. Personally, I'd rather NOT die to appease an imaginary entity.

  • @darknut79 First, God is only imaginary to those who does not know him. Second, you can't take what God is by considering peoples claim in action. It would be nice if everybody knews what truly is to be a christian and to have those appostles as examples the same way we must have JC as example for our life. I cant take responsability for other ppls claims, but God will make justice not by your hand, or mine, or any country, but by His hans at the right time.

  • @darknut79 its the same reason why i shouldnt react when somebody try to throw me inside an oven because i believe in Jesus. 1. I do believe him and do not fear death. 2. Justice is not mine, if God will let they take my life, so be it. Ill rest from my present work and be revived and Jesus gets back, which will be soon.

  • brave servant of god who die preaching the gospel ..love of god has come to us to repent for our sin ..the price the marty paid cannot be conprenend ..bless for they are pure in heart they shall see god..bless are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven ..read mattew 5.3 to 10

  • ST.Lorenzo Ruiz

"im a catholic and happy to die for god, if i have a thousand lives to offer i will offer them to god"

  • The life of a martyr can't be taken. It can only be given.....

  • The joy of our faith is that we aren't required to die for God, he already did that for us.

  • /facepalm. i dotn wanna die, but i can fight and if the fighting gets to hard and causes me to die then shit happens. :) the the : oh plz kill me so that i can get to heaven-cult attitude is full of phail.

  • All of you who boast of wanting to die for Jesus: praise God. In the mean time: live for Jesus.

  • @vichlopet Praise Jesus! That he would give us such a beautiful gift as to allow us to be martyred for him! Hallelujah!

  • I'm going to refuse the mark of the beast

  • do you know what the mark of the beast is?

  • @SpcMedia21 Yes. Islam

  • @SpcMedia21 ... it's a computer chip.

  • Well in my research i I thought it was a computer chip like ryuthdionss said. But i began to look closer to the original text and be logical. If you look in the greek text of revelation the 666 seems really look like bismillah the word allah and bissim and 2 crossed swords on the side. So if you look right now next to Israel and you can see that Hamas and Hezbollah are using badges on their arms and foreheads and i believe antichrist will come from the middle east and be a muslim.

  • @GodzillaCO hopefully you wont be around to have refuse the mark. The rapture will take place and the christians who love and followed Jesus with their whole hearts will be taken away from the earth. People who fell short of God will be on the earth for the 7 year tribulation.

  • @GodzillaCO ...I hope people know who is the Beast

  • The place in Luke, which you quoted, isn't talking about executing them now; it's talking about the final judgment of God, so please do not twist scripture. Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek to those who persecute us, not slaughter them.

Isaiah 55:11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

There's enough power in God's word and in the Holy Ghost....

  • Beautiful! I hope my time comes as such.

    And my children.

We will hold strong to the Traditional Catholic Fath.

  • I also want to die as a martyr!

  • me too bro

  • These were fine men. Fine men.

  • ♥♥♥ † Gesù,Maria,Vi Amo!Salvate Anime! † ♥♥♥

    Eco incensante di FATIMA:

"...alla fine il Mio Cuore Immacolato TRIONFERA!"

  • Beautiful music, great is their reward in Heaven.

    Great video.

  • Read National Sunday Law by A. Jan Marcussen soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Makes me cry.... I wish to die as a martyr if I die young.

  • That is very beautiful.

  • moving stuff

  • Have you suffered for Christ's sake?

  • hmm , lets see, i havent been beaten, stoned, tortured YET... i believe its coming soon, but. have i suffered for Christ, in Christian America.. how about every day.

We are strategically being censored, banned from things, ridiculed, made fun of, harrassed, threatened, being a Christian isn't so great in America. Especially when you are radical for Christ and uncompromising like so many "christians" are.

  • Good answer. That's what I am talking about. Yes we are persecuted even in America but not to the extent of the martyrs (past and present). That's a good reason to speak up now while we still have freedom to do so. Amen and thanks for the video.

  • Very nice video. Sad but true. God bless you.

  • great video...sad but true...

  • i see all the agony of this people and it doesnt compare to anything, we're such complainers and whiners, like my pastor says, nothing compares to what this men went trhough. thanx to all these people, we are enjoying the good news of salvation, if it werent for their sacrifice we wouldnt have this freedom we have in Jesus.

thanx for reminding us with this portion of history my lovely friend.

    GBU.

  • Lovely. Wonderful tribute, to the most fortunate men who lived. They knew our lord and King.

How many of you have ever been asked the question, if you could go back and visit a famous person from history, who would you choose?

The first and last name on my lips would be Jesus Christ.

  • peter asked to be crucified upside down, becuase he didnt feel worthy to be crucified right side up, but this is soo sad, when i see their dedication it makes me feel like crap like im not even worthy!!

  • None of us are friend. The mud we walk in is more clean in the eyes of God, than the hands that we work with. Thats why Jesus' sacrifice blows me away. God is Love (with a captial "L").

  • Nice dedication to our brothers in Jesus Christ.

  • Nice video and good music off braveheart thanks brother. They certainly saw something extrordinary to die in such a way eh =]

  • Thank you for putting all this information together. And to think they were accused of making this all up. How sad to be assused of such nonsense.

  • No one could fully appreciate what was done for people to be saved:( Thank you for this presentation.

  • Christianity is not a religion, is LIFE, life in CHRIST!

thank you so much for this wonderful video!

  • John was exiled to Patmos, he was still alive. There he wrote the book of Revelation.

(someone correct me, if I'm mistaken.)

  • Salvation - thanks for all the videos you've sent me. I'm getting a laptop in a couple of weeks time - I promise I'll check out all your videos! Regarding the disciple martyrs - they OBVIOUSLY believed that Jesus had risen from the dead - or else they would have chosen to remain 100% safe by denying him!

  • John the Apostle and John the Baptist are not the same person i believe...In the Book of John the apostle John was just known as the Disciple.

  • John the Baptist was the cousin of Jesus. John the Apostle was His best friend the brother of James and son of Zebedee. He is the one who wrote the Gospel of John and the Apocalypse. RLJ

  • great vid. so there were no original disciples around by AD70?

  • Good job,

This Brings to mind the end of a poem about Christian martyrs...it says

"I will die for you my brother-

    unless He wills I stay,

Pray for me that I continue upright-

when all is dark and comes the night,

and if you die and see his face,

beg our Lord to give me grace.

I will do the same for you--and we shall

glory when all is made new,"

  • Religion is the last way the gain power. The strongest country at the moment's president has absolutely no theology on Christianity.

I will be glad to answer your questions on Christianity, feel free to PM me. I'm not looking for arguments pertaining only to insult.

  • I honor those who weren't cowards and shed their blood for the Lord. I also look down in sadness on the ignoramus, and the fatuous minded like you PowerAndPerception.

  • I respect the fact that people can sacrifice themselves for something they believe in. My only serious worry, is that some non-religious people can pretend to be religious and may gain Authority via religion, even if they are not genuine. Authority is power. You know who I'm talking about?

These evil people can easily manipulate some of their good people. But the 'flock' (for lack of a better word) will follow that Authority, to the end.

    That scares me.

    I worry for our planet.

  • Ah I just saw you called me an "ignoramus" :(

Maybe you were not the best person to ask.

FYI: about 2 years ago, I started researching Christianity, as well as other religions. I got a bible. I even went to Church a couple of times.

I could have been a Christian, but I just do not want the world to end in the way you believe it will. I also think that "blasphemy" is not the only unforgivable crime. I find it disturbing that I can be forgiven for Anything, providing that I believe in Jesus.

  • definetly, I really like this video, I'm surprised it has so little views. This video really shows both the priviledge and suffering of being a Christian that Christ promised.

  • Amen to this video! We should always remember those saints who gave their lives for Christ! In these times It is so easy to forget what it means to be a true Christian.

  • powerful. favorited, god bless

  • This is my favorite video.

  • SalvationEternity777, that was rude. PowerAndPerception, we don't enjoy it, we just need to be reminded.

  • OK. It is your culture I suppose.

I have some questions about your beliefs. If it is OK to ask?

  • Sure, feel free to ask anything. I won't look down on you or judge you in any way.
