you know whats fun, when you have stripers blastin at the suraface in saltwater and you throw a live baitfish called a bunker into the school and you catch stripers that average 10-30lbs with some fish in excess of 40 pounds
@357686 Ceck out a Wilderness System Tarpon 120 or 140 I traded yp from an ultimate 14.5 to the 120 and will never look back. Great speed, tracks perfect, and the supa whole are protected underneath. I only wish I would have gotten the Ultralite
nice day dude have you ever keeped any strippers to eat? and ever try flyfishing for them? I cant wait till mid june for strippers down in ct with my yack i am getting the itch for that soon lol

I caught my first fish from my Kayak today. I was just testing to see if I could balance and cast. Not only did I balance I caught a Big Mouth Bass. I love my Kayak.
Wonderfull vid, ive been fishin for stripers in the hamptons with a kayak, but so far only baan chased by big uns, no luck with trolling for em, any tips?
Do you use a depth finder? If so..where is it mounted? What size/model/style kayak are you using. I am seriously in the market for a fishing kayak rig.
There is no ff on this yak. It is a Kazkazi Dorado that I imported from South Africa...not for a beginner. I am currently using an Ocean Kayak Trident and I love it and is set up specifically for electronics.
Wow great video, I just purchased my first kayak and this gets me pumped. For the shiner you were drifting, was it just hook line and shiner? Also how many feet of line did you let out on that shiner hookup?
what lure were you using and what did you have on the bait rod?

Is the striper bite better in the Summer or fall?
