  • what website do you go to to get your charts

  • Hi John

I know im late on the silver investing, but i recently got in the game as of last week before it hit the $19 mark in USD this week.

The only "asset" i have is a 401k, no car and no house which is why i've decided to put my money in silver as well. Only a modest amount. Do you think this was a bad move? You seem to predict more highs on silver and from what im watching. I agree that we shouldnt focus solely on charts. I also have to think longterm. your thoughts?

    Thanks!!

  • So before I give them a call tomorrow, what's the procedure for buying bars from the Perth mint? How much do they charge for posting it to the eastern states? Anyone bought recently, what's the wait?

  • God you are good @ predicting metals in play. All the other channels preach the same gospel but you actually state when you think will happen & are pretty accurate. Bravo.

  • there is a local coin shop selling silver eagles for 20 dollars and bars for spot. do you think 20 dollars is too much to pay for the coins?

  • $20 in what currency?

If american - no i dont think thats WAYYYY overpriced... having said that - have you tried apmex ?

  • in us dollars. he said he could do a deal at 20 when silver was 18.80. at current price 18.55 apmex is selling these coins at 20.35... those coins had been in the shop for "months". everybody is selling. people can't jobs and they're flat broke.

  • then its a good deal.

    use apmex as ur guide.

  • @medini2 I remember November 2009 and my local coin shop wanted $20 for an eagle too.

If only I knew that $20 would have been a bargain.

Problem with apmex was that it cost $19.99 to ship 20 coins, so it was like adding $1 to each coin.

Anyway, just came across this video from over 1 year ago.

Did you buy any silver back then?

  • @Clarissa2424 yeah, i bought 100 oz am .eagles from the coin shop that day. he wasn't coming down off of 20, though. i forgot about the shipping charge w/ apmex.. i didn't know it was that high.

would have been really super nice if i had been smart back a long time ago.

  • Hey john, do you know anything about palladiums highs 9 years ago (as per kitco) and what do you think about it as an investment metal?

  • i dont follow it as much... so cant give a meaningful comment.

  • John, I own several rental properties here in the U.S., have zero gold/silver, and currently have low liquidity. I'm considering selling my best property which would net me about $85k, and placing most of that into gold & silver due to the suicidal path our govt seems to be heading down. Your thoughts? Randy

  • my thoughts - you're a bit late ;)

im not a financial advisor - but i can tell you that I did that last year... sold out and put equity in silver

  • I agree I'm late, but unfortunately I was overseas the last 2 years in Iraq & Afghanistan. I'm now trying to figure out how to make the best of the situation I'm in. My inclination is to sell the property, if it'll sell, and try to salvage what I can. It's not an easy call though. R.

  • its not an easy call... but you will sleep better at night. i know i do

  • I think you're right. I'm going to list it in the next week & hope for the best. I subscribed to your channel after you hosted on Vision Victory. Your analysis made sense to me and had alot of good info. Thanks for your thoughts,

  • The path of Suicide. Great title for a history of the USA. I am probably going to sorry i did this, but, are we allowed to share a blogspot that is generally speaking very yellow in nature, lots of name calling, w/o documentation? If so check out tom heneghan's blogspot it screws with your mind, big time.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

    :o)

  • if it would drop more i would be a buyer again.

Now i am waiting at the side lines for a serious drop, then the buying from my side will start again.

I have put a line at 15 euro, above with i do not buy (price troy ounce), that is inclusive VAT we have to pay here and the premium. I bought at 11.50 euro to 15.00 euro physical kind.

  • I found it interesting that silver dipped sharply at the start of thursday and friday but then recovered both days. It looked a bit like a failed play to set a selling wave in motion, with the options expiry coming up, would you agree?

  • yeap. the chart is looking bullish.

monday is the real test... but i agree - holding up EXTREMELY WELL.

  • Hi John, what video editing software do you use to create your videos? I see you can capture whatever is presented on your computer screen to show charts.

  • I use the software that came with my logitech camera to record and put charts on the screen - then pinnacle studio to put the finishing touches

  • Thanks again for the stats..great video...especially the 9:51 part.....THANKS M8. I'm just trying to have a little fun in these somewhat Dark Times...Really appreciate the Plug:):):)

  • Thanks, great update. Been following you since March and I really appreciate your insight.

  • Nice vid John...5*s

  • Great video thanks for all the good information

  • Thanks for everything you are doing!

  • So sell some silver and wait for it to drop again before buying more?

Anyone got any good advice on how to trade this?

  • just hold the silver, its a bull market, trying to time it may cause you to miss the train. I bought my silver at 8.90 an ounce last october. Youll see it go through the roof in the next year... at least thats what i feel...

  • I am seeing decoupling subtle but happening.

  • Thanks for the great video John.

Been thinking of hedging against a gold drop with DZZ, but it just keeps dropping.

I'm probably going to crack and buy some shares soon, it's looking darn cheap at these levels.

  • Every recent technical advice I have seen on PM has been wrong. With a market so manipulated, you cannot rely on technicals. Those that control the show will build you up to get all your chips on the table then force the market and clean your house. Forget technicals and just buy it when you can. Big time inflation is coming, invest accordingly.

  • Victory achieved when the CRIMEX busts.

  • cool vid dude. keep up the sharp analysis.

  • im starting to see a frenzy in teh ebay market

  • Carry trade, unwind, scramble for USD..the next crisis?

  • Today the DOW is down and the dollar is up; this trend (and vice versa) has been quite prevalent in the past months. Are you at all worried that a crash in the DOW would kill metals? Or would it just create the mother of all buying opportunities?

  • These correllations are out of whack because of market manipulation. eventually ALL of them will crash simultaneously.......GOLD, US DOLLAR, STOCK MARKET, BONDS ETC ETC ETC.

STAY SHARP and expect the unexpected.

  • John did you see/hear Jim Sinclair's mention of the Swiss stair pattern in gold? He believes the pattern we've been seeing since early August is extremely bullish. It was insinuated that this is a result of central banking buying of gold.

Essentially, we've stair stepped from $960 to $1000-1020, rested, stepped from $1000 to $1040-$1060, rested, stepped from $1050 to $1130-$1150, resting now(?).

  • Does Jim Sinclair have his own channel on YouTube??

  • I don't think so. The interview I heard was on KingWorldNews.

  • That's right John.. if they knock it down, this community knows what to do!!

    5 Stars

  • 5 stars for comex bust

  • Hey John, do you have any idea what caused the recent run on metals?? Was it collapse of the dollar?? Injection of excess liquidity by the PPT??? What??

  • China has a lot to do with it. Just in sheer numbers of the population . . .

  • the later.......PPT

All of the above markets are being manipulated.

  • Thanks for all your great work!

Esp. like the silver breakout forecast and the heads up on the December contracts.

    You Rock, Stella!

  • Thanks for the video. Chapman is saying a squeeze is coming too because the US banks are throwing everything they have at this and are losing.

  • just fully invested myself into silver bullion and gold bullion, mostly silver because of upside.... You guys here on youtube really helped me make my decision...Peter Schiff was kinda the catalyst but you guys really do alot of good..

    please keep posting videos

  • absolutely stella

  • Popped it's Nut! LOL.

  • The delivery scenario would be quite interesting.

  • 5 str

  • Thanks John ~

  • Cheers John

I'll get the Kettle on mate.

NO WAY AM I GOING OUT FOR COFFEE lol.

Russia was 30 ton not 20 but whats an extra 10 ton lol

  • Thank you!

  • tkx for your always excellent updates............

  • Always look forward to your charts and updates. Looks like things are getting ready to start ? Like everyone else I wish had had a little more savings to invest. Thanks John

  • Thank you John.

  • yes, silver is "she"

  • 9:14 December 2009 is the beginning of the end of Comex Gold? Don't forget to buy bottled water, canned food, etc.

  • Good video, thanks mate.

  • Great commentary, thanks. I'm going to laugh if the Comex can't honor their contracts in December. Another Obama fiasco.

  • thanks again for the good advice.

hmm..cosmic drama queen looks like a dominatrix who probably likes to hang gold bullion off of her slaves nipples..

  • Stellaaaaaaaaa,

Question, I've recently cashed in on some profits, due to the need of some cash. But what I didn't realize before is that you have to know the right people to get a deal for your silver. Apmex was offering me about 80% spot for 100oz bars. Luckly I found someone who is willing to buy silver at around 95-98% spot price.

When I do buy some more silver what might be the better form to buy it in: rounds(gov mint, or private), bars(5oz, 10oz, 100oz)? Thanks, Peace

  • at this stage of the game - you want as much silver for your money.

when it was 10-15 per oz... you could afford to pay premiums for coins etc... but now - this market is about to explode (before xmas) you want full exposure to the metal

  • A year into owning silver and holding it, I wondered too about selling if I had to - as it seemed to me to sell it back to the the place of purchase, they make money on you twice....Not good. I too bought from Apmex. I have seen on ebay though, people getting bids ABOVE spot, so I think that's what I'll do should the need arise. I also think it might be wise to stay at 10 oz bars maximum, so it's affordable to buyers. I have all 10 oz'ers but have been thinking of buying more in 1 and 5.

  • Yes you are correct. But with ebay come ebay and paypal fees that add up. Peace

  • Ooops, you're right - I don't sell much on ebay. I have noticed though, that Apmex bars seem to sell higher than other brands on ebay. Don't know why, but I like it. I'm sure glad I left mine in their plastic wraps...that seems to make a difference in value.

  • @magbigblock Good point in sticking to smaller sized bars, especially if silver really goes high.

It may be easier to liquify if needed. I plan to hang on for the longterm ,though may sell a little to give my grownup kids a surprise income boost!

  • Im thinking that if these rumours of saltad tungsten gold bars is in any way true then trading metal is about to get a whole lot harder.

I guess we all know who is doing this and its the same folk that like to blame the errrr 'terrorists' for what they do.

It looks to me like there may well be a move to outlaw private trading of PMs because 'the terrorists are using it to fund their eeeevil empire'...

I can just smell it coming as if it was planned a long time ago.

    I hope Im wrong

  • lol - america will be laughed at if they do that.

  • By then we will be in a One World Government under the UN and the Fiat Banksters that own that thing. I doubt 'the US will be of much significance by then.

I don't see a 'real money' future. 5 - 10 years time is my best bet.

These folk have found a fluid manipulatable way to control their ignorant debt cattle and the will not wish to go backwards.

Its worked since 1971, with a bit of teething tweaking it will continue.

Its just a control matrix, and gold is just another heavy metal.

  • Central Banks selling tungsten filled bars is not cool. It makes them look really bad doesn't it? Actually it has always irritated me to see plated imitation coins being sold on Ebay as in esscence counterfeits are being sold as replicas.

  • ccharlie100 -

    We are already there.

Nov 11, 2009: "Canadian border guards nab Syrian with $800K in gold"

    tinyurl (DOT) com / gold-terror

    .

  • Whats that, about 25 Kilos?

Why would anyone try to jump the US border with that?

    Have you a source?

  • Yeah I think all this tungsten news is a way to get people to not buy the metal and keep their money in phoney markets. Scaring off new metals buyers.

  • you got it

  • I snagged 29 ounces the night before silver went up a dollar :D

  • This time I'm with Bob. Short squeeze.

    Cover your short on Thursday.

Two sides to a trade...this time opposite of the expected pull-back with options...

  • i cant lose on the trade - stops at breakeven... but i think we'll see a spike down.. if im wrong now i cant lose, if im right - ill cash out and buy more cheap silver ;)

I hope hes right anyhow - because if he is - this is the crescendo point we've been waiting for.

  • but having said that - I think he's wrong THIS time... and it doesnt happen often with bobby ;) he's got a better track record than anyone hands down

  • having said that - i just closed 40% of the contracts on that spike down to 1134 - so profit locked in - free rolling 60% of the contracts.

  • It's only good news from here. If they can knock it down a ways, I'm going to load up again. If they can't, then a lot of people will take physical delivery and the Comex is going to be in huge trouble. Not to mention the banks are going to be scrambling to cover shorts.

    Happy times!

And for anyone thinking silver is too expensive, give your head a shake. It won't be long before you would literally give your right arm for a chance to buy silver at $18 an ounce!

  • Love it man!

You analysis is always informative and spot on!

    : )

  • Your hair looks like a wig, mate.

  • Buy silver and gold, and bust the banksters! =^[.]^=

  • Great update! The next few weeks could be interesting! Thanks for all the hard work you do to keep us informed!

  • When do you think that silver will be more rare than gold?

  • @castmay Already is.

  • But why is silver selling for a lot less?

  • @castmay - To give you the chance to buy a pile of it and make a killing :)

  • Naked short selling on paper. Something like 15 years of Silver sold onto the market that hasn't even been produced yet.

  • Silver cannot become more rare then gold, the available silver (for bullion trade) is said by some to be more rare then gold today. Industrial silver is however not included in these calculations.

  • @ snakecharmer133, not being mean, just trying to figure all this crisis crap out since I now own silver....

You kinda contradicted yourself in your comment above. If .999 silver is more rare than gold, how is it that it "cannot become more rare than gold?" Forget the industrial stuff...I'm talking about what's in my safe at the moment...Thanks :)

  • When silver prices become high enough silver will be taken from industrial use and converted into bullion. While there is less silver bullion on trade then gold bullion there is still more silver above ground then there is gold, most of this silver is used in industrial applications.

  • what is the cartel?

  • The cartel are the Central Banks, JPMorgan, The Fed, The Government, etc. They short precious metals to try to keep confidence in fiat currencies.

  • are you are able to determine the purity of said "cheap silver jewelry" ?

  • i cant determine purity at all other than a store label. many items have that 925 stamp and there are other items with microscopic stamp on it. usually silver is found at 80%, 925, and 99%. of course, there are fake ones and will bring in my silver tester, a mickey mouse magnet :)

  • @fendernow are you not able to buy silver bullion, coins, bars, rounds etc? i would choose them over jewellery anyday.

  • i own plenty of govt issued coins (eagles, maples, etc) i picked up in the US. though there is an area in thailand that has a great reputation for silver and silversmiths. i may spend like $30 or so, and if its fake it will be a small loss

  • Go for the magnet test on that silver before you buy

  • linux23dragon2008 -

    What magnet test???

  • Apparently you can't pick up Silver with a magnet.

  • impossible to find silver coins other than the govt mint which has a one ounce coin for 3 x spot. rightbrain, the gold market is great here however.

  • great video john! nice to see you do silver videos once again and nice to see silver get back towards the $20s

  • first! im in thailand and was wondering if i should take advantage of the very cheap silver jewelry here?

  • jewellery in thailand.... hmmm... id stay away ;)

  • thx for the input john. at most i will probably spend $30 if nothing at all
