  • underground has a glamour, like that is not a famous band :>

  • I like this version much.

  • you know when he stops screaming he actually has a really good voice.

  • they almost sound like puddle of mudd during the chorus :P

  • @areosmith456 yea but they were around way before puddle of mudd :p

  • @icptwized Puddle Of Mudd formed about 6 years before Smile Empty Soul... Puddle 92'. Smile 98'. I will always love Smile more though ;] haha

  • i think we should all tell our friends about them. i mean.. i bought their smile empty soul c.d. and it was great and their newest c.d. which is awesome (consciousness). we need to get them more known! knock knock knock to the big music agencies. a grunge sound from the 90's that lives in the 2000's!

  • @imalmightyness theyre not grunge tho

  • i hate my life

    i hate my mother

    i hate my father

    i hate my sister

    i hate my die

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG I FINALLY FOUND THE NAME TO IT RADIO DOES NOT REALLY HELP

  • This is the best song EVER!

  • criminally underrated. These guys and Trust Company.

  • I met their lead singer in Arizona when they played a live show at the Tempe Marketplace. Most laid back guy i've ever met

  • i like this live better then studio version

  • this is a good version, but a while back i was listening to an acoustic version that I think was just Sean. If anyone has it, please contact me.

  • is that the guy who is now in puddle of mudd lol

  • amazing version good vocals>>+>dr@nk!!

  • amazing man keep rocking

  • dunno why but this band reminds me of nirvana. been listening to these guys for over 2 years now and they grow reminding me of'em even though their style is completely different. weird

  • @Krakthor Weird. I've been a big SES fan since their first album and I just told one of my buddies a few days ago that in my opinion Sean Danielson is todays Kurt Cobain. I don't say that to rip on Kurt either. He's my biggest inspiration and I love all of his work. SES has always reminded me of Nirvana as well and none of my friends have ever agreed with me.

So I'm gonna stop rambling like a creep now. I say all that just to tell you I agree with you. lol

  • @ihatefaggotbitch at least one that agrees with me :)

  • @Krakthor I agree as well. Nirvana is my favorite band and I think SES is the only modern band that comes close to the same level of emotion. A bunch of guys ripped me apart when I said that Sean was today's Kurt in the comments section of the official Don't Ever Leave video, but that's the way I feel.

  • @AgonyReturns actually seether comes close too in mym opinion

  • @Krakthor Yeah, kinda. But other times Seether strike me as too blunt and without humor. I prefer SES

  • meh I don't like how he drops his voice in the chorus. in the regular version of course it's the loud part.

  • @ihatecountry777

yes, you're right but i think they make the chorus part not so loud because it's an acoustic version and acoustic versions are often calmer

but its a question of taste so.. ;)

  • @LeenPower yeah listening to it again I can tell how it kind of catches you off guard after all that build up. It forces you to feel laid-back.

  • @ihatecountry777

    yeah, you're right ;)

but i think in the chorus you have to sing very high and maybe sean has no desire to shout vso loud :P

    but you're right :)

  • He is waaaay more talented than i knew!!!!!!! .....and i already loved smile empty soul!!! <3

  • I don't know who the fuck didn't like this, but whoever it is, is obviously deaf and pretty dumb too. Best version since I was a kid listening to these guys

  • i am sober all ready lol next time no parrot bay, some vodka

  • This is the first time where I've heard a live version sound better than the recorded one. And yes, he does sound like Wes Scantlin from Puddle of Mudd. :-)

  • ..nice western sound.. make my day :)

  • saw them live in cambridge md in 2006 at great slates when i was working as a bouncer and whole bar got so loud couldnt hear the band even sing including me my boss threw fit cus i was so into the band lol!

  • He sounds like Wes Scantlin from Puddle of Mudd

  • wow amazing jobs guys you kicked the shit out of this song

  • Fuckin BAD ASS!

  • @raiders2000 Its not a dark demented song. Its him explaining why he used to drink. Its how alot of people these days feel. Maybe not all with drinking, but with smoking weed, ciggs, doing coke, meth, hell, even self harm. Its the exact opposite. Its not only maybe a cry for help, but its just an explaination of how bad life can get fucked up

  • Didnt this band break up recently?

  • @AiriiDragon no you're a dumbass

  • @sabre3000 why would i be dumb for asking a question? at least Im asking questions and not going around thinking something false. Didnt know the pursuit of knowledge was dumb maybe that says something about you.

  • @sabre3000 You're a douche dude. lol

  • @AiriiDragon No, my band Bad Magistrate played with them last night at Club Bourbon Street in Port Richey, FL

  • @raiders2000 its the exact opposite u dumbshit

  • man i can listin to this 100 times and it never gets old and i think i did listin to it 100 times

  • This was a long time ago! Their still awesome.

  • just my opniion, i think they should relese a full acoustic EP or something.

  • @KxGx122 Hell Yeah Im Thinkin The Same Thing. I Love All Their Acoustic Stuff

  • @JoniDanny The singer is amazingly talented.

  • this was FUCKING AWESOME. holy shit.

  • I love this song! I fell in love w/ this band the first time i heard it. such a beautiful sound...

  • I love this!

  • i really like it but i dont like that you backed off on the choras you need to scream it otherwise it was amazing

  • this band needs much more publicity. there way too good to not be a big band.

  • @42foundation42

totaly agree i first heard them when i was about my 7th grade, i just got addicted

they need way much publicity. AWESOME band \m/

  • @42foundation42 yeah they are really good and they should be a big band, but the cool thing is they dont care if they get big or not, they are in it just for the love it, which is really cool! Mad Props SES

  • @42foundation42 Definitely. Same with the autumn offering

  • @42foundation42 I just saw them live and I was thinking the same. I couldn't believe they weren't better known. They signed their CD and stuff for me, they were cool. They are way too good to not be more famous.

  • @42foundation42 nah im glad that they are on the edges of mainstream it'll keep the music real

  • @42foundation42 some part of me wants to agree with you, but if they get big will the sound fail to cease with the fame

  • so awesome. :)
