  • hey, i go here to this place, lol

  • you people calling her fat are probably not skinnier than her for 1 and for 2 people saying those mean things about a girl who probably doesnt even weigh 100 pounds is just the kind of thing that causes people to get eating disorders and be depressed and commit suicide so next time you wanna say something mean think about how your the reason that she quit dance and wasted such an amazing talent. I would like to see you try what she just did

  • i think that she had perfict arms and that they were flowy and she looked verry gracful.!!

  • Im sorry, buuuttttt, are you guys seriously calling her curvy??? She's a stick!! I dont think you guys know what curvy is.

  • i wouldn't say she's heavy OR curvy. her body looks just fine to me... plus, it's not her actual physical weight, it's her movement. it's a bit stiff. not so controlled on the way down. she looks a bit strained. these things will come with practice. she's very good :)

  • @NinjaTree6 Yeah, I think the only thing that needs to be worked on is just...I don't know how to describe it but when you watch a ballet, the female dancers just have this naturally flowy-ness type movement... Can't explain it!

  • Breathtaking:)

  • Dancing is becoming more about weight than talent these days :/ She's very good!

  • terribile...

  • what school is this?

and HELL NO; she is skinny! anyone who believes to see something other should seriously consider treatment because your perception might be distorted. i´m not joking

  • OMG GUYS. CALM DOWN. SHES NOT CURVY. SHES NOT FAT. SHES TINY. CALM DOWN. JUST CAUSE SHE ISNT A STICK DOES NOT MEAN SHE IS FAT. GODDAMN.

  • i absoluetly ROOT for her u dont have to be neccessarily small to do ballet....

  • Beautiful!

  • Future 'Odette' . . .♥

  • Curves do disrupt the line. However it's not her lines that bother me. Proportion can be thrown off by weight yes, but there is no excuse for lacking technique. Obviously she is not a professional and appears to be young. So she has work to do and time to do it. Realistically her weight has nothing to do with her dancing. That is not the excuse for not liking what you see.

  • cigne? ..

  • Who the hell called this graceful and talented girl fat???

SMH! People these days need help, I swear! This girl is perfectly fine and quite beautiful the way she is.

  • so beautiful. shes not fat. i didnt think that while watching this. absolutley stunning!

  • a bigger ballerina, I like it!

  • Awesome dancer. You look gorgeous!!

  • you are who i aspire to be

  • That was beautiful! :D

  • @ashyjedi its not too late i just started dancing again and im twenty. i just do it for fun and it was tough to get back in shape, but go for it!!

  • How dare anyone talk about her weight when she's a phenomenal dancer!!

I really wish I never stopped ballet and that i was in it today.. I'm 19 and I think it's too late =(

  • @ashyjedi i think is not too late, you're till young (:

    you can do it for hobby (;

  • @moonlightdancer I might just do that. on campus and maybe find a studio =P

  • i wish i could watch the whole rehearsal! looks great.

  • shes my size, does that mean im fat?!?! NO! shut up people!

  • You can dance very well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she is so good. i wish i cud b en pointe . siiiiigghhh

  • UUUUMMMMMMM..... fat? NO! She is perfect wait! Sorry she has alittle meat on her bones! Most of the people in todays society believe that women should be twigs! Since when did being soooo skinny they have no curves become sexier then curves! COME ON PEOPLE! USE YOUR FREAKING BRAIN!!!!!!!

  • i like how a lot of people are saying she's terrible, but she's dancing the lead isnt she? she was picked FOR a REASON!!! No one can take that from her. lol

  • So pretty!

  • What ballet studio is this?

  • Lol, she can be a lot fatter and still be gorgeous. I weigh over 70 kilos and I am the biggest in my dance class, but I couldn't care less, I have a great body for dancing. I reckon the girl in the video has a normal weight but what matters is that she's a fabulous dancer!

  • her balance is really good!!!:)

  • Shes not fat shes actually healthy for a dancer instead of being a stick

  • no te duele?

  • You dance very well. You're also a breath of fresh air, a ballet dancer that has curves. Inspirational!

  • beautiful!!!! :)))

  • in the ballet world it's normal to be anorexic or bullemic they dont think it's bad which i sort of understand for them cause in order to get a real dance career you have to have the right body type long legs, skinny, and thin arms. but you dont have to be anorexic to be skinny you can just diet a lot! it's unhealthy to be anorexic not just in general but also in the dancer world cause then you have no calories to sustain you so you cant put forth the energy in class therefore you will be weaker

  • She is anything but fat, you retards. She is beautiful. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.

  • You look wonderful!

  • wait.. people are calling her fat? she's far from it. maybe in ballet world she's not stick thin, but with the standards in the social world, she's perfect. and she can dance. anybody would be lucky to be like her.

  • You must've felt so beautiful doing this - Odette/Odile is my dream role, and you were really amazing! Very nice job. <3

  • your great !

  • i love your body :D

  • Beautiful, and I love your leg warmers! Where did you get them?

  • your body is amazing and i love your arms and bourrés :)

  • omg the first full figure ballet dancer. love you see you show people you dont have to be stick thin

  • youre not fat at all..movements looked heavy sometimes but even skinny people can have that problem :)

  • you're lovely to watch! and this is a HARD variation too omg.

  • you´re not fat but I think you see heavy in your movements and that arrange whit a class work and practice, yo have talent :)

  • This is lovely. Keep up the work! I love your figure. Don't listen to discouragement. You are full of talent and bound to excel in the ballet world. Your arms and legs are beautifully expressive. I'll see you in the big theatre someday, Mickey!

  • I'm wasn't paying attention to her weight !! The only thing I noticed while watching this was that she's is a TALENTED ballet dancer and she carries herself very gracefully and has PERFECT ballance :) !! I want to start ballet as soon as possible while i'm still young, so I can shape myself into being just as gracefull bc I still have alot to learn. BTW she's not fat PERIOD !! She's a talented dancer and she's graceful, and I'm a very short tiny girl saying this :) !!!

  • @MegaManny234 Listen I think you didn't read my comment properly. I didn't say she is fat. She's ok for a normal girl. But! For some professions you need to have certain physical features. Ballerinas have to be thin, not anorexic! There is a big difference between being thin and anorexic. And if you don't know then difference then you have the issue, not me. Believe me, all the thin ballerinas I know are probably much healthier than you and I are because they have extremely balanced diets...

  • amazing!

  • Yes, for a hobby she's ok but for a professional dancer her legs are indeed too big. I'm not saying she's fat, she is NOT but they are indeed too big for what a dancer should have... My brother is a professional ballet dancer so I've met hundreds and hundreds of them and really, believe me, her legs are REALLY too big... Just have a look at real professional dancers videos on youtube and compare their legs!!!!!!!!!!! It's obvious, you don't need to be an expert on the topic to see that!!!!!!

  • @laurafiguerolagomez People like you annoy the crap out of me..Maybe you might be the queen of the anorexics but I'm tired of seeing skinny skinny minny minny do you know how many people die because they try to be so small her legs are beautiful, and she has beautiful lines and she's beautiful alll together so go somewhere!!!

  • @laurafiguerolagomez I agree with you 100%!!! (and may I say I am an expert, ballet dancer in the making!)

  • @laurafiguerolagomez what is it with you fucktards? lets get one thing straight. if you want to be an anorexic bitch then go ahead. i really couldnt care less. but dont put this beautiful dancer down just because shes normal.

  • do you think she's fat??? she is no way fat!! she's ok! I liked the dance, keep it up and don't worry about your weight you are so ok :)

  • You will go places, darling. Your artistry is quite good. Look forward to seeing you on some great stages!

  • You are so pretty!!! Congratulations on that role it's really hard. Best of luck! You look great!

  • @ballerina10101 Thank You

  • You are beautiful and sooooo graceful!!

  • what school is this?

  • @enpointegirl South Bay Dance Center

  • Your body is perfect and I LOVE your work. Ignore haters.

  • oh who the hell said you're fat?? your body is really ... beautiful!!!:) you are talented..

  • who ever called you fat still believes in the stigma that all ballerinas are anorexic. you look amazing XD

  • I actually loved it :)

  • Brava, was a pleasure to watch.

  • Beautiful!

  • Fat?! What the hell, this girl's got a gorgeous body! I enjoyed your video ♥

  • whoever is calling her fat or anything like that needs to see a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist. insane.

  • you have an amazing figure !

but you look a bit heavy , I think it should look b a bit more gracefully but good job anyway :)

  • How old were you here? and how long had you been doing ballet here? :) Thank you so much if you answer, it would be a great help :D

  • @smartercat I was 15 years old here and had been doing ballet for maybe 11 years

  • I really enjoyed watching you dance, absolutely beautiful! It's really irritating seeing all of the inappropriate comments on here. As an adult beginner I have major respect for anyone doing this, especially with that much grace!

  • @shannonh2osu adult beginner? i also wanna have ballet classes but i everyone keeps telling me not to cause it's toolate now. (18) how r u going?

  • @109catherine Hi Catherine, I'm doing well! I've been dancing for a little over a year and hope to be en pointe in a year or two (I take at least 3-4 1.5 hr classes a week and do what I can at home. At 18 it's definitely not too old to start ballet! Will you ever be a professional ballerina? No, but that doesn't mean you can't develop into a beautiful dancer. As long as you are healthy and willing to dedicate your time you will see much progress!

  • @shannonh2osu It's also really important that you find a studio that takes adult ballet seriously and teaches good technique. Our joints are not as resilient as younger students so this is *really* important. Be sure to be persistent with your stretching too. More importantly have fun! Sometimes the progress can be slow starting as an adult but be patient and you'll surprise yourself. I started at 24 w/ no prior training, at 18 you'll be JUST fine. Don't let others deter you!!!

  • i think you are a beautiful dancer. marvelous! and you look drop dead sexy. XOXO you go girl!

  • what the fuck? shes so far from fat.

  • hey how old r u??? ur look yung

  • @nunnieisamazing54321 I was 15 here in this video.

  • I did Odette's variation when I was 14. Oh dear the joys and memories of ballet. Sadly no more...

  • Great job. You're doing just fine. Just a tip: try not to drop your chest in your chest to compensate for a higher leg. ( 1:55 ) Keep the arch in your back. You have really nice turns. Also, and I'm not seeing the desperation. It helps to think of dying turtles.

  • A real woman instead of a stick doing ballet! Finally! I love it, so beautiful! =)

  • @skerple94 I love the fact that she's a real woman!!

  • @skerple94

    That's mean actually.

  • You aren't fat at all. You are the perfect ballerina size! I loved the video! Keep dancing!

  • when you kick dont move your hip so much

  • @azuenko Thank you for your input. It is greatly appreciated. I would just like to point out that this was about three years ago so obviously i have improved and understand the impact of emotion in dancing. I had learned this dance a short time before it was on camera.

  • @kendahke wow you are so wrong

  • @anyany you called her fat? are you fucking blind

  • @bennettcullen is it joke?? open your eyes! and look really ballerinas!!

  • @anyany I wouldn't really consider myself fat... Obviously if you are saying i'm fat you have issues. Not everybody has to be two pounds to dance. Thank you.

  • @mickeykenna in the ballet has its own aesthetics, look like looks famous prima-ballerinas. Can also talk about support - your partner should not grub!

  • @anyany Are you illiterate or what!!

  • @mickeykenna You're not fat in anyway what so ever! Ignore jealous people who hide behind their computers and make horrible comments at fantastic dancers such as yourself! Loved the dance by the way! :D xxx

  • @mickeykenna I wouldn't consider you fat either >.> If you don't mind my asking, how much did you weigh in this video? I'm also a ballerina (who needs to lose weight) but I don't want to be skinny like the other girls in my class and you look to be around my same height...

    Thank you :D Keep dancing!

  • @anyany LOL....before you call people names you might wanna fix your grammar love...it's "so fat" not "such fat". How about you post a video of yourself dancing?! 'Cos right now, I can't see any on your channel. And by the way, this girl is NOT FAT, if you think she's fat, you must be an anorexic bitch who sticks her fingers down her throat to be sick to please others. Typical of your people! haha! :D good luck love, you're gonna need it in life!

  • @MissZumba100 typical of my people is the best ballet in the world.

  • @anyany So??! Does that mean other people aren't allowed to do it? Come show your ugly face on YT and we'll be the judge of YOU! And by the way, this girl has MUSCLE, in order to dance, you need MUSCLE for strength! Carry on sucking on your lettuce leaf and FUCK OFF!

  • @anyany You're people aren't the best and your people didn't make ballet the french did and if it weren't for the french/King Louie Ballet wouldn't be here so get out of dodge!!

  • @anyany there is such a thing called having meat on your bones....not every dancer has to be a toothpick

  • @anyany you probably think she's fat because your probably anorexic. she has figure, your a twig. no boy likes a girl without curves. don't hate sweetie.

  • @anyany In what anorexic univers is she fat?

  • @BeautifullyTragicxx in the ballet universe. i'm sorry but it's cruel.

  • @BeautifullyTragicxx Maybe on the ballet universe??

  • @anyany You're Russian, aren't you?

  • @anyany You are fat!! Leave her alone!!

  • absolutely lovely

  • Try to make your arms less stiff and also hold the movements a little longer but other than that good job! :)

  • É uma bailarina bonita, mais poderia trabalhar mais sua técnica antes de dançar esta variação.

A adaptação não ajudou muito !

    Parabéns !

  • I think that you are amazing and beautiful!!!!! I love your feet! emotion is always hard to show but you got the part and the rest of them didnt so what does that say?

  • @azuenko Leave her be...Did you ever think, maybe shes concentraiting...Ive been en pointe for a LONG time, and i dont always have a huge grin on my face while rehearsing,

  • @WhatsDog its not about having a huge grin on your face, its about feeling the emotion, playing the part. so many people in competitions and at studios use variations like this and esmeralda just to show off high kicks. there is more to ballet then just that. and even if she was concentrating, she should still play the part. if she cant handle that, then she shouldnt do that variation,

  • You know what I like about you? The fact that you're not a stereotypical "skinny" dancer and you do just as good a job as any other dancer (who may be smaller in size than you, NOT saying I think you're big) you're a perfect size I'm just saying 'cos I'm a size 8-10 (UK size) and when I tell peole I do ballet they're quite surprised and look at my muscly legs straight away. lol....but you looked lovely! Great work!

  • other than emotion, this is a very good job in my opinion.. i don't get why there are so many dislikes.. this is a hard variation and i know that trying to be 'emotional' while concentrating on technique at the same time is SO easy to say than done! people may criticize on whatever aspect there is.. but for me this is a job well done :)

  • work on your arms c:

  • Very nice work! This is a hard variation! I have some comments:

    1. more emotion - I had a hard time feeling the desparation and sadness

    2. don't "fudge" your movements together - make everything clear and precise!

3.) no extra step-steps with your feet - this is a BIG no no and ruins your work

    4. Relax - tension kills movement!

    Nice work! Keep it up!

    From one dancer to another!

  • Is it just me or are her arm movements alittle stiff?o-o

  • try to bend more from your hips, rolling down to your stomach, chest, neck then head, which keeps your back straight in the combre front at 0:27.

  • try to be a bit more behind the music, you should seem desprate since you are trying to get a guy to love you, watch gillian murphys, she is actually a bit behind the music

  • I love this variation! good job

  • Amen azuneko

  • Lovely! you have to lift a little bit more your legs :P

  • aghhhhhhhhhhhhh... I WISH I CUD DO THIS!

  • wow, this is gorgeous! i wish the whole world could dance like this, it'd be so beautiful! :')

  • i think you did an amazing job. you are a beautiful dancer!

  • Ballet is so beautiful! I almost cried watching this, my mother wont allow me to take ballet and it kills me you are beautiful to watch!

  • Try not to look at the floor all the time... make it much more sad and pretend like you are desperately trying to fly.... and keep your leg all the way behind you in arabesque....

    but nice work!

  • @thegingerbreadgirl16 Thank you for your help (:

  • That's so amazing! I love wathing you dancing ; ) Very nice!

  • i love your legs they are perfect!
