He was underrated during the prime of his career. He should have gone to atleast 2 probowls in his prime. I've never seen a corner tackle as well as Winfield did in his prime. His coverage has been getting more spotty now but he's still a good corner. Perfect candidate to move to SS.

I don't really understand what you're saying. The strong side depends on what hand the QB is. If he's left handed, the strong side is the left, and vice versa. For what ever reason, teams that run cover-2 defense don't always have the starting corner lined up on the starting reciever. Winfield had to ask Childress to line up on Driver last week.
