  • Love the drums!!!!

  • brAD gillis and that floyd rose sustainer circuit,,,like on a fernandes,,,,,,sustainer circuit,,,, like vai uses etc,,,,,

  • RIP Rhodes!!!!! Great album, it's crazy how Sabbaths first live album 'Live Evil' came out around the same time with Dio singing many of the original Sabbath tracks written with/for Ozzy. Lotsa bitchin between the two bands Im sure!

  • @supertzar11 RIP Dio!!!

  • Tommy Aldridge is incredible on this album, 0:57, 1:16

  • I literally wore out 3 cassettes of this album. Played them until they were so thin that they broke. I was hoping that Brad Gillis would step in for Randy Rhodes after this ( NOBODY replaces Randy Rhodes). Quite disappointed when he stayed with that chick band Night Ranger. I think that Jake E Lee kinda got a bum rap, but the albums that he appeared on could not hold a candle to the Randy Rhodes albums, so he got the blame ( somewhat unfairly I I think.)

  • leeeeeeeeeeeeeet MY YOU SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM OZZY OUSBOURNE THE BEST SONG GUITAR

  • love sabbath but this album was superior as far as musicianship goes I agree Sarzo, and Rhodes played the shit out of these sabbath tunes...I have seen the original sabbath do these tunes and its not even close..

  • @21esilva This isn't Rhodes on guitar dude. It's Brad Gillis.

  • Ozzy hates this album, it was suppose to be Randy Rohads and Ozzy`s music but right when he died Ozzy made them all Black Sabbath songs,

  • @tf2hat i think this album is better than tribute, like tommy says, he had tapes that blew this material away, randy would not have been proud tommy said, but tribute is good to, don't get me wrong, this was made to be live though, ozzy is sounding great on this

  • @tf2hat this album was never to be anything but sabbath material and was contracted out before rhoads died. and was a HUGE point of contention between randy and ozzy. randy never wanted to do it and almost left the band over it. rudy's book covers it well.

  • Brad Gillis is a fucking beast on this album. Say all you want about Night Ranger and bla bla bla. His slurring of the chords in here is f'ing sweet. His technique is flawless. On only a few parts on this entire album do you hear minor mistakes, which to the untrained ear would never be heard. Flawless renditions of some of the greatest songs of all time. CHEERS!!

  • HERE is the version I was looking to play while makin breakfast.. great style in Gillis.

  • @PoofDuddy I've always thought this is one of Ozzy's best albums. The versions of Black Sabbath and Fairies Wear Boots are superior.

  • lets make it a good one.

  • my goodness;

  • when ozzy was STILL ozzy.........fuckin sharon! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • @StuON22 ozzy will always be ozzy, he's getting old. you must be young.

  • This is my all time favorite version of Fairies Wear Boots because of Ozzy's "Is everybody high?" cry.

  • Saw him preform this in Houston last night, AWSOME concert. He still kicks some serious ass. Keep rocking OZZY!!!!!!!

  • Bless you Ozzy!

  • 1:16 ha awesome double bass

  • this album cover is fucking NUTZ the picture is written in a different language the yellow part is actually cryptic writing although it looks like a frame it actually says something like thanks for dialing dial a demon production??? i can't remember

  • Taken from allmusic.com about this recording: "The show itself took on an ominous tone with a chair visibly propped up on the edge of the stage; upon it rested a spiral notebook containing the lyrics to all the Sabbath songs of the evening, from which Ozzy read throughout the show".

Still, it is an AWESOME RECORDING!!

  • BRAD GILLIS is one of the most undrrated guitarist o all time!

  • I was twelve years old & my mom gave me money for my birthday and said lets go to the store and buy whatever u want. I came out with my 2 very first cassettes ever & one of them was Dio's "Holy Diver" & the other was Ozzy's "Speak of the Devil." That Monday I was pretty popular @ school! That was 27 yrs ago this week. Thanks Ma /,,/

  • Alright i'm gonna get high, and drunk, and piss on the neighbors lawn.

  • this album became an unkown for ozzy ,great album i wish there was a video of this concert at the ritz in new york, there is a live concert dvd of ozzy with brad gillis called speak of the devil but its a mixed song concert ,they dont play just sabbath songs like this concert

  • brad is very underated,i thought he was one of ozzys best except randy of corse.

  • I have this album, bought it the day it came out. Got to meet the drummer Aldridge a few years later. Awsome !! Thnx for posting.

  • going home late last nite.,.suddenly i got a fright..awesome song!

  • At 5:35 For whom the bell tolls!!

  • This is the best version of Fairies on official release!

  • tommy gettn his pull

  • i am truly convinced that Tommy,Rudy and brad could not be beat.....kinda scary how good they meshed together after randy's demise in too the unknown. this album makes me proud to have come out of the 80 seen with my sanity in tacked. Keep on rockin and loud!!!

  • @paistiecrash Yep I agree. This band you're listening to is absolutely stellar. This is a case of the sum total being greater than it's parts. This is the finest moment of any Osbourne supporting band.

  • tommy aldridge can beat the hell out of them yamaha drums.....Damm.!!

  • @mattowarrior 2 Mesa MK II's

  • Best guitar tone of all time... er... at least top 3... lol

  • @p0rkjell0 His tone is monstrous. Mesa Boogie Mark Series Amps at their finest.

  • Bought this when it first came out when I was a teen, still listen to it ... Awesome ..

  • aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!! turn that shit up

  • Best album sabbath NEVER made!

  • The bass on this is sick... The guitars are on another planet good... Best Brad ever did... Just sick!

  • IS EVERYBODY HIGH!?!?

  • Brad Gillis rips this shit up!!!!!

  • i thought fairies wore dresses ! they were boots?

  • @MrBeatrixKiddo Please Tell me your kidding???? LOL

  • @independantfundament no white after labor day though right?

  • @MrBeatrixKiddo

I saw black sabbath, reunion tour in 99 thunderbird stadium( only stop on tour with no beergarden), and ozzy said that geezer was going home one night and some skinheads jumped him, so they wrote a song for them, nice of em eh.

  • @dudebeer36

then the song must be correct, fairies do wear boots after all ...

  • @MrBeatrixKiddo Apparently, Ozzy saw it.

  • Rock on......

  • damnit i need a beer this this kicks ass

  • AWESOME CD OZZY IS MY DAD !

  • its a shame his voice is kinda fucked op in this whole album, cos the instrumental is better then the sabbath version but the voice clearly isnt

  • in the 80s i rocked to this as much as i did any of his others or sabbath stuff , this is grat energy

  • they dont make this in the us anymore ozzy stoped it

  • One of the top 10 best Black Sabbath songs, next to Planet Caravan, Behind the Wall of Sleep, Am I Going Insane (Radio), Wheels of Confusion, War Pigs and...

  • best live album ever recorded....

THANK YOU FOR THE POST! ♥

  • Rudy Sarzo is a kick ass bass player This Album Fucking rules

  • i met Ozzy with this album when i was 14. and i became a fan. i'm in love with this record. Fucking awesome!!!!!!!

  • I make a point to listen to faires wear boots when I'm stoned. It sounds....cool.

  • ozzy BRAD GILLIS, rudy sarzo, and tommy aldridge, and dont forget the midget of course! epic sabbath, great band hes got here i dont know why ozzy hates this album, i love it!

  • he hates this album, because, randy(best friend and guitarist) was dead and he don't want to do anything.. but he was in contract with some record company that he had to do an album.. so he did this album of sabbath cover songs in one night :) sorry for my bad english

  • @Egilutis i did know that, i just meant its pretty good so leave it alone for what it is ozz and keep sellin it! i know randy was his mate{best of} but this album f$*kin rocks kid!!!

  • is everbody high?!,,.ozzy ya greatly rockin out this livenight just epic!

  • this song makes me wanna put a brick through my neighbors face

  • fuckin right on! and after you do the fuck with the brick,i'll hit that scum-bum in the back of the head with a nice trench shovel!!!

  • senor Sarzo and mr gillis...cant forget tommy on drums,,bustin his ass..I havent heard anyone do the old sabbath better than this crew!!!! good stuff people!!!!!!!

  • 5:15 BAD ASS TROLL SCREAMS!

  • SO FUCKING GOOd!.. it was jack e lee on that song right?

  • no, that was BRAD GILLIS!

  • @uburei also brad could not help himself using a sustainer cir uit for most of the songs on here, which i believe really help out the songs for his and ozzs benefit for these covers , yes a sustainer rocks with ozzys shit man!!1

  • even though this an album of covers it is still a great and well produced album. it sounds great.

  • get your facts straight - this is Rudy Sarzo on bass

  • jake e lee was with ozzy for bark at the moon and the ultimate sin albums

  • Awesome!

  • THE MAD MAN IS BACK ! OZZY

  • wheres jake e lee ?

  • this album is the best of all..

  • this album is my fave BRAD GILLIS album ever.....love his playing on this. damn good stuff!

  • @roccotanto dance with me..*snickers* i dahr ya

  • This is a much better live album than "live evil " with dio.....sound quality is sooo much better.

  • I have always thought that this was the best live album sound of any album ever.

  • I have to agree...i dont think ive heard another live album with such good sound quality...makes you feel like your right there in the audience...where was this recorded?..this was the first album I ever bought when I was 9 years..after that i was hooked on this heavy shit.

  • What did you think of the "live at last" album by sabbath?

  • I really haven't heard that album. I have most of the Sabbath albums/cds, but the last Sabbath cd I bought was the Reunion cd back in 1998!!

  • Its got some decent stuff on it...sound quality is not too bad i guess.I think it was recorded in madrid ,spain...but not a %100 sure..it came out after never say die but was actually recorded sometime between vol4 and sabbath bloody sabbath....i think the record company just tried to cash in on it...although its really a bootleg album. That reunion album in 98 was ok but not as good as this speak of the devil album....this album has all the classic stuff on it...not one weak song.

  • its cause the bass is so distinct. geezer makes the band

  • ALRIGHT IS EVERYBODY HIGH........im gonna smoke some big bong hits.....

  • Every Sabbath cut on this album is just a little more intense than the original recordings. Brad Gillis' guitar tone and leads are mind blowing. I have heard there was some studio re-touching done to these live recordings, but I don't care it's still my favorite live album ever.

  • fuckin awesome.....never heard the sabbath version until after i heard this and this one is the best.......tony Iommi would and should be proud and so should brad gillis

  • this is certainly not better than the black sabbath version

  • the greatest singer and one of his many great songs. ozzy osbourne, his solo carrer/black sabbath, fairies wear boots..... i love it all

  • Thanks Thanks Thanks God for Ozzy

  • one of my if not favoret songs of aaallll time

  • Brad Gills yet another savage axeman, however randy rhoads was still a big loss for metal

  • excellent sons, excellent ozzy!

  • great song, great live!!! ozzy & black sabbath 4ever!!!

  • One of my favorite albums.
