As a straight male, I get a lot of shit for listening to this guys music. But it's stuff like this that makes it worthwhile. I didn't see this as him trying to make this song epic, the song is already epic and imo the best thing he's ever written and my favorite ballad in the last decade or so. I've been to a ton of live shows and seen countless acts and I can safely say that this guy enjoys performing more than anybody I've ever seen.

I look at the top 40 these days and just shake my head....
