(Lyrics continued) Karpoora gaura, Jagadoddhara he dhani Ballala Tu devaancha deva kharaa Aadinath tu mangala kaara Deyi krupechya amrutadhaara Kaari vishwacha sarwa pasaara Ye Vighnesha, ye Jagadeesha Ye Dhani Paramesha Naach naach re Gajanana...
The lyrics were composed by the late Shantaram Nandgaonkar. Nandgaonkar hailed from Nandgaon in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. He composed devotional songs dedicated to Lord Ganesha. A collection of songs with lyrics composed by him were released some years ago, in the album 'Om Sri Gananayaka'. He also wrote the lyrics of several Marathi and Hindi films songs. He passed away in July 2009.
The artist has sung this devotional song well. But unfortunately she has mercilessly murdered the lyrics. This Marathi song is originally sung by Pt. Ajit Kadkade. I am sure if the lyricist listens to this song he will cry. I feel she should learn the correct Marathi words and their pronunciations from singers like Ranjani and Gayatri.

To: Smt.Aruna Sairam: Namaskaarams & Paaraattukkal for giving such BHAVA POORVA singing and giving an opportunity to get a divine feeling of GANESHA ..
To: Persons who know this song in full:
Please give the song in DEVA NAGARI and ENGLISH Scripts with meaning in English to help MEDITATE on GANAPATHI PAPPA in a better way
Yes it is Marathi hope people will enjoy with spirit with it created and Sung by Smt.Aruna Sairam and her enthuiastic team.Jai Ganesh to all.Sant Ganeshwarji,Tukaramji were like Sant Kabirji or Sai Babaji
Even though I do not understand the language I don't think you need to in order to recognize that she is an extrodinary singer, I wish there was a cd with all her performances from this series. Does anyone know the name of the song playing at the end?
It is Marathi Abhang!!! you can find a treasure trove of devotional songs in Marathi as Abhangs composed by Mahans such as Tukkaram, Namdev etc...Though I am a tamilian and do not understand their meaning at most times, but I just google and sometimes get to know their meanings...High spiritual content expressed in simple words...The song at the end is a prayer to Goddess "Parasakthi" or Durga - the divine mother..
Very nice. I am becoming fan of Aruna Sairam. One has to ignore imperfections in pronunciations, but that does not take away from enjoyment of the abhang.
3:25 to 4:00 is like breath taking..

True Musician sings involving herself
totally what she is singing and that is why
it comes out most appealing to listner's
ear giving serene feelings to every one.
This is how in ancient times sages used to praise GOD with their voices- she reminds me those old days.
