  • Volvo made a solid progress in E-car development, and is also very prudent in marketing. Yes, play safe

  • Wonder how it runs when its freezing cold, snowing heavily and on icy roads. What the price? How many can afford it in 2010? Can it pull a trailer? Can it fit a family of more than 4?

  • @starlight1946 It's not in commercial production. It's in what you can call beta testing. They are gathering data from real world usage.

  • pick me pick me. I'll do it.

  • probably the best styling from volvo ever. its not the best, but better than its other vehicles

  • I loved the last gen C70 but nobody has seemed to notice them ;)

  • That has to be the most boring car ever.

  • looks kinda nice though. if only it came in a gasoline version j/k

  • The infelction in these guy's voices is so fake.

  • best looking electric car yet apart from the tesla .

  • don't get your Electric car wet

  • @sirberner12 are you being serious! will it shock you...

  • @sirberner12 I totally fell for that one

  • Has anyone else noticed that some hybrids and most electric cars always have the ugliest rims?

  • @elBufi

The nice thing about this car is that the battery is place in middle console area so that it doesn't take up much utility space of the car.which has been seen ever in E-car design. Other cars such Plug-prius,hybird camry, leaf or Volt all end up very awkwadly reducing the trunk space.

  • 93 miles, must be for people who don't travel in their cars.

  • Honestly, who cares? It's just another pointless, copy-cat electric concept.

  • i'll test!

  • Excellent. 150km is enough for half a weeks motoring for me, so charge twice a week, at about $5 a charge. So $10 a week. So I save $50 a week here. Much more reliable than an internal combustion engine so no leaky exhausts, radiators to top up, oil to change, etc. Do me just fine. I think they have used a smaller battery to preserve space, rather than like the mini E losing its back seat. Cars build electric ground up have them in a double floor.

  • your right but then you have to pay 40000 for the damn car

  • You really think an electric car is maintenance free?

  • 93 miles on a single charge and 8 hours recharge the damned thing?

    ....Seriously? That's... um... pathetic?

  • @linkdarkshadow. It takes ~8 hours from completely flat using normal wall socket power. It can be charged in ~30 min with the right equipment. For daily commute it's actually very convenient. You get home, plug it in, and get on with your life.

  • why does electric=nerdy? always?

  • Come on Volvo ...

    Don't go electric please

  • I will never buy or drive a car like this unless it was a gift

  • @BigZeb5

    Same here, thats for sure!

  • Electric sucks

  • TESLA?

  • Yeah some folks don't know!
