Anyway, if the rsx was boosted, it wouldn't eat the WRX, but it would be a much better race. But running without a turbo on the WRX... well... that's not exactly making the race equal. The RSX uses crazy high compression to get it's power. WRX uses super low compression and boost to make the same power. And generally speaking they could nearly be in the same class, if in stock form.

if you put a TC on a Type S at 19 lbs with high compression that car aint gonna be safe without some serious tuning lol but that aside 450 hp aint easy to keep to the ground on a FWD car from a digg. I raced an acura integra pulling low 12's, i was 3/4ths the way down the track before it flew past me. From a roll hell yeah the wrx can easily get smoked. From a digg not by much 1/4 mile wise.
If you can keep the FWD's power to the ground u will smoke alot of cars.
WRX is automatically better because of AWD. FWD is that RSX's downfall. you're limited to 350whp unless you wanna wheelspin at the line for a good 5 seconds. with AWD, you'll be putting power to the ground even at 800whp.
how much power you putting to the ground? My TD05-20G on my WRX is pushing 350WHP. RSXs arent "bad" they just arent that great either. The WRX, like any turbo car, is just so easy to add bolt ons and get huge power gains from easy/cheeper stuff. Hell, just a TBE and tune and I was running 8.3s 1/8th miles.
i get full boost around 3000RPM and it stays around 19PSI till 6000RPM. The stock TD04 only held 19PSI from 2500-4000 RPM, so its powerband was rather weak.
.with 1400 bucks i spent on my wrx and 5 hours in my garage i added over 100 whp to my car and unless u have a evo or sti you wont get better numbers for the money..
it may be non turbo but its tuned and has better valve timing think of it like this base rsx has 150 hp the type s has 220 if im correct well where did those 50 plus hp come from not god so just as the acura has its edge for power so does the heavier and better subaru
well if you swap a wrx engine for a sti engine or a jdm sti engine that revs at 8k and build it on top of that just like u would with the rsx then it still would be better........ no matter what u do to a rsx if u do it to a wrx let alone the sti it will always be a faster more convient and more popular car .........anybody i know would choose a wrx over any rsx and sti isnt even a question ...

You guys are dum. Bro the WRX is turbo charged. Throw TC at at a TYPE S and it will be a different story. Especially 19psi. Depending on Turbo could be easily pushing 450 500 HP

if you put a TC on a Type S at 19 lbs with high compression that car aint gonna be safe without some serious tuning lol but that aside 450 hp aint easy to keep to the ground on a FWD car from a digg. I raced an acura integra pulling low 12's, i was 3/4ths the way down the track before it flew past me. From a roll hell yeah the wrx can easily get smoked. From a digg not by much 1/4 mile wise.
If you can keep the FWD's power to the ground u will smoke alot of cars.

WRX is automatically better because of AWD. FWD is that RSX's downfall. you're limited to 350whp unless you wanna wheelspin at the line for a good 5 seconds. with AWD, you'll be putting power to the ground even at 800whp.
and i've never lost to a turbo RSX in my STi.

how much power you putting to the ground? My TD05-20G on my WRX is pushing 350WHP. RSXs arent "bad" they just arent that great either. The WRX, like any turbo car, is just so easy to add bolt ons and get huge power gains from easy/cheeper stuff. Hell, just a TBE and tune and I was running 8.3s 1/8th miles.

i get full boost around 3000RPM and it stays around 19PSI till 6000RPM. The stock TD04 only held 19PSI from 2500-4000 RPM, so its powerband was rather weak.

well if you swap a wrx engine for a sti engine or a jdm sti engine that revs at 8k and build it on top of that just like u would with the rsx then it still would be better........ no matter what u do to a rsx if u do it to a wrx let alone the sti it will always be a faster more convient and more popular car .........anybody i know would choose a wrx over any rsx and sti isnt even a question ...
