Acid peels and micro dermabrasion can actually cause milia. Those tiny little bumps that never seem to go away, and their not acne. Plus I found that Retina-A cream works better than any peel or facial cleanser. It helps with acne, milia, and fine lines. What an exfoliator! But you need to be patient. Don't expect miracles. Give it plenty of time and don't over use. Ask your dermatologist if they think it's right for you. Does cause irritation at first. And don't get it in your eyes!

Ebay rocks, I always order from ebay, I always find what I am looking for at affordable prices, and you have a buyer protection plan too. I usually order from multiple people, but I must say I found one store in particular called A House Of Gaga, they don't have much lately, but if you keep checking you can find really good deals.

I ordered Clinique 3 step and the roller ball for eyes and all for 60 without tax. And I have purchased makeup and dresses. Really good prices, just FYI.

I was just prescribed Atralin, and have not used it. My skin looked so red and inflamed and lots of cystic acne. I have been taking loads of supplements and I just started juicing and oh my God...for the first time, my skin looked less inflamed and less dry and irritated. I really think it was the raw vegetable juice and I even noticed less fine line around my mouth area. My skin looks plump and the cysts look better al ready. And mind you, that is without sleep and without Atralin. DIET!

i use obagi too. but i live in singapore and its really hard to buy it so you NEED a doctors prescription. but you should try the vitamin C. they have one thats 10% which is oil based and 20% thats water based. it dries up pimples/acne if you have any and it also firms up youre face preventing wrinkles :). anyway love your vids keep it up! x

Did the renewal eye gel stuff get rid of the milia? I think I might have it but I'm not sure and at this time I don't have the extra money to spend on 'extras', I have little white bumps just on the delicate part under my eyes and a little on the inner corner exactly where I get my dark eye circles. I hate them, but am also thinking if I go to a ethetician and can actually get them removed, wouldn't they just come back? If you have any advice thank you in advanced!

I use it when I feel like my pores are getting larger, and I can see the pores are getting better right on the next day! Cool product! =)

But does it has an expiring date on your tube?

Coz' mine doesn't.

As I'm not using it everyday, plus I order it on web (I live in Hong Kong, we don't have this brand here) , so I'm kind of worry how long can I keep it after openning...

i am 30 and pregnant so i cant be on anything that works at the moment. i just got a broken capilliry on the top part of my eyelid. IT really sucks. I did try a couple pulses from lasers they did not work for me either. Do you know of any creams or something i could eat that would help? if not you dont have to reply. thank for a not so boring tutorial and getting right to the point you should do more videos. some tutorials read off the bottle. its really funny when thats all they know.

I feel your pain, I have a brown spot right under my eye that the derm wouldn't laser because it was so close to my eye--the MedSpa lasered it twice, but it really didn't help much--I would just wait until you have the baby (congratulations!), and let someone else try to laser or IPL the capillaries--that's all I know to do! Hi Lisa, I have acne scars & have problems with brake outs but my concern is getting rid of my scars. I was told that the obaji blue peel would work for the scars but Im on my 15th day out and havent seen any progress . Now my there telling me I have to use obaji line to help with the scaring is this true? Im kind of iffy since he also told me the peel would work out just fine. Will this help me out? Hi Lisa. I just bought Obagisystem for my dark spots and acne scars. I'm excited to start, but i'm going on a trip with my boyfriend on the 2nd week of January (next week), and again on the 2nd week of February, and I don't want to look terrible for those! How long is the "ugly phase?" Should i wait until after the February trip to start?

Also, please, how did you get rid of the milia under your eye? i have some and i have no idea how to get rid of them!

Oh, Goodness--I guess it depends on if you use the retinol with the blender--that's what really makes you peel, but that's also what really makes it work! If I had to say--I would say wait--because my best friend did it and peeled like crazy--I peeled so bad in spots that it was painful looking, my mom begged me to stop--but the worst peeling spots were the dark pigmentation. I ended up having a Vitalize peel to speed up the process, but that was really ugly for a couple of weeks! HTH :) Lisa

I have been using the Skinceuticals Simply Clean and Equalizing Toner--just to take a break, but I have noticed that I need to get back on the CLEAR--I think it's good to take a break sometimes, and just come back when you need it! Lisa, I have also use the Obagi NuDerm and have for about 1-1/2 years. Love it...I agree with you, it really works. I was thinking about a peel a couple of years ago and a friend warned me about. I am so glad I did not do it and instead went on the Obagi. I too do not like the sunscreen. I use the Clarisonic with the Obagi foaming gel to wash my face. I also use the Tretinoin 1% with the blender. I highly recommend this product.

Going through the ugly phase here!! I've been on it two weeks today, and not looking too pretty, but I'm hoping it will all be worth it. I have some dark pigmentation issues due to hormone problems. Also, the texture of my skin hasn't been too nice- I'm 42 now. But, I must say I'm seeing a bit of difference in the pigmentation and texture- it's looking better! I am supposed to have an Obagi peel soon- do you know if these work very well?? By the way, your skin is gorgeous!

I'm using the higher strength retinol every 2nd day. :) I am seeing a doc in a small town- that's all we have in WY- haha! I'm not sure they have the Vitalize peel- that's not Obagi right? I think they just do the Obagi Blue Peel if I got my information correct- but I will certainly ask about it. I'm pretty nervous about the peel, I hear it's painful. But if it makes a difference then it will be worth it to me. My foundation does not cover my pigmentation, and it's embarrassing!!

Vitalize isn't Obagi--I've only known one person to get the Blue Peel (my son's teacher) & she was not pleased--it didn't do what she thought it would--she was hoping it would help with acne, acne scarring, and freckles--it was terrible looking!! I didn't end up doing the peel as the Obagi nu-derm almost completely took care of my severe pigmentation issues. My doctor was shocked at the difference in less than two months and wished she had taken before and after photos! It's an amazing product.

It takes a while of peeling and flaking before you will see good results--I'd say 6 weeks or so! My issue was mainly the uneven skin tone--getting the dead/old skin off helped alot, then the Hydrquinone/Clear helps fade what's left! Thanks for watching!! Lisa

Hi Lisa! I wanted to try this but I have a wedding to attend next month and a reunion in October. Do you think I should I get started on it now or wait until after the reunion. I know there is an "ugly phase" but I don't know how long it lasts. I am so excited to try this and "fix" my skin!! Also do you know if you can go spray tanning while using this? Hey!! No, do not start it until after your reunion--it takes a good 4-6 weeks to get through the ugly phase, I rushed through mine with a chemical peel, but that was pretty ugly for a while, too--It's so worth it--but just be prepared for a lot of peeling! I would def not try to self tan my face during this, it will be very sensitive and it will be flaking so much that the tanner wouldn't look good--I hope this helps, I know it sounds terrible, but the end results are wonderful!! Hey!! I don't have flawless skin, but it certainly looks a lot better after the Obagi!! I also had a chemical peel after about a month of using the Obagi products, and that really helped a lot, too--it was called a Vitalize Peel--just make sure you are off of your Retin A for 10 days before!! I think you will see results in a month or so!! It's worth it!! :)) Lisa

hi lisa Im a guy using this product to nu derm and tretinoin 5% and it really work the only problem that when I sweat my sweat hurt a lot and my skin get so red really red I guess cous tha salt of the sweat and it just hurt a lot and my work required to be active a lot and its look like I just came out of the steam room ja ja lot of people asck me that so any guy good luck with this product if u use it also I geting lot of dead skin is it bad to use the spf to banish the fleaks from dead

It varies--I didn't peel too much because I had a chemical peel a couple of weeks after I started--to go ahead & get rid of the dead skin--you just have to get off of the retin A before you have the peel!! You should go to a Med Spa that sells Obagi & have an Aesthetician explain it and help you through it--that's what I did! Thanks for watching--HTH! Lisa

If you have already had a peel, you should be fine--I don't remember anything about my mouth area-I just remember the Retin A was harsh--it made my pigmented spots really peel--almost bleed--I had to lay off the retinol--I think you will be fine with the Obagi--I still use the Cleanser/toner/exfoderm forte--are you using any retinol products?

Hey! It lasts a week or more--I went and had a chemical peel shortly after I started to kind of speed up the process--it worked and then some!! I REALLY peeled after the peel, but it was quicker! Hey! Yes-Yes-Yes!! It's because you don't have as much "dead" skin to exfoliate--I was the same way--I started peeling etc--then I had a peel that got rid of all of it at once! She could do that--just go and have a peel and get it over with!! It will be "ugly"--but once it heals--beautiful skin! Oh, I know just what you are going through! What I did was go to the aesthetician and get a chemical peel--one was a light lactic peel, then I got a Vitalize peel--it was way more intense, but it did a great job of getting rid of all the dead skin and dark patches! OMG! OBAGI works great. This is my short story. My mother used to be the kind of person that really cared for her skin, she looked awesome but in 1995 we lost my brother and my mom went into a deep depression, she didn't care for her skin at ALL: she had deep wrinkles along her forehead and lips and had an overall rouch looking complexion. Hey! the peeling and flaking happens within a week or so--I had to back off of the retinol that you mix ith the Blender--then, I kind of "skipped" the peeling phase (which is old, damaged skin) by having a Vitalize Peel--THAT was ugly--it took off a good layer of skin--quick--not fun, but VERY effective! I now use moring: wexler MMPi, MAC Lightful, Korres olive and rye! Night: RetinA lotion. I think I might get the blender by obaji- I looved it up and it doesnt seem to contain sulfur! I need the lightening- what are you thoughts on that?!? I cant wait to hear what you think of the korres! You should do a review! :o)

Are ya "flaky", girl!? I only did the IPL a few times--only once on my whole face--my eyes were just about swollen shut! I can't do the Micro because of all the broken capillaries, so that's how I got persuaded to do the peels! The gel is Obagi Elastiderm--Thanks! Lisa

I'm sooo simple when it comers to skincare... the three things that keep my skin looking it's freshest are my Dove Unscented Beauty Bar, Alpha Hydrox Cream, and my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer, that's about it for me... I did use for the longest time and loved the Clinique Total Turnaround Cream but Alpha Hydrox works the same and it saves me over 30 dollars.

I actually use Elastiderm now! I'm 19 but it works PERFECTLY! I have always had bags under my eyes (partly because of genetics and also poor sleeping habits) but I absolutely ADORE it! I have gotton that expensive eye cream from Avon Anew that is sort of "split" in two--one side is a gel, and the other is a cream--it was really nice but I would rather have the Bobbi Brown eye cream--it's a great eye cream!
