So in several instances it became clear that in portal 2 that the ratman has been observing Cell but now that leaves a lot of questions, the most obvious being; how is he staying alive without any food? The only thing that I can think of is that he found a way to keep the repulsion gell from jumping out of his mouth.

@Ep1cShad0w isn't it obvious? Rattman found the cake from the end of Portal 1 and has been surviving off that. Thus the reason why there are no cake references in Portal 2.

i found this by accident after being stumped for like an hour. I actually used one of the cans in the room to help me complete the level. To this day i still dont know how to complete it legit and dont care, its just funny that i used a small coffee can from a secret room to help me beat the game.

Doug Rattman was a man who worked for Aperture. He found out GLaDOS was evil, went to hiding, and survived off beans. He died after being shot by a turret while trying to get Chell. ( he thought she could stop GLaDOS) Also, I had a lot more, but Youtube said Comment too Long. :(

@DoctorE543 nah there are gibberish sounds on one of the tests near a rattman den indicating he might be alive.. he fell asleep in a a relaxation chamber and being shot in the leg is not always lethal as long as bleeding stops.. i mean chell survived portal... and im pretty posative you ALL were shot on your first play through..
