xbox version may be different, PC is real fun version of it though. Well about that sword, when sareth gets his backpack stolen in the chest that contains his gear is opened there's a Flamegold Bar in there with it, pick it up and find a forge. Should get you the Earthfire Sword. Idk how it is for xbox though.

Okay, to start with, that sword IS NOT the best sword in the game. It is the Sword of Dragonclaw (Maybe it was Dragonteeth, don't remember.)

It has 9 dmg and 18 against undead. VERY GOOD!

Also, after you have heated the blade by putting it directly into the fire, you don't have to put it into the water again.

Old or not, it doesn't make a difference, 2 years ago the Sword of Dragon*word* existed, and back then you STILL didn't have to put it into the water again.

@billyblue1690 You don't get the sword with the other weapons. You get it in some crypt where you could also find the Superior Naga Silksword. It's before you can choose whether to be good or evil, cleansed or demonic, but you can't use the sword until you choose to be cleansed.

@CowShaker dragonclaw not even close TO THE SUPERIOR NAGA SILKSWORD (it adds 2 more to critical chance and along with some other items YOU CAN KILL ANYTHING IN ONE HIT)

@thevashfan12392 Trust me, the Dragonclaw sword is so much better. No fucking doubt. 2% more crit chance doesn't it make it a crit every time you hit. I think you can get a max of what 10% crit if you count the crit you start with having.

There is NO doubt, dragonclaw > All.

You have to reinstall and only install the LASTEST patch only not the others between that. That worked for a friend

1337 Citrus To Correct you yes you can, in the Enemies Storage you'll find the sword. or and rocky1734546, its when you get on the boat and get to a latter with blue glow in it, crawl in the ladder. and jump over to the other side destroy crates and VOILA! a Flamegold Bar. Btw, Best sword in the Game, Exept Superior Katana. But the best shield when you find Earthfire Shield

You can't FIND the sword, you have to smith it. You have to find a flamegold bar, and smith it. It's impossible to FIND on an enemy, cause they don't use it.

Well, there is a place inside the boat where you will had to climb a ladder (its near a loading point) well if you climb on the box near, and then on some sort of floor near, there will be the bar and a magic ring...

There is one hidden in the boat, thats the early one, the second one is in the chest where your Equipent Bag is at the mission: The Fire in the Blood...

Well Zmegol... that is a good idea, but even if i would have tought of this in the time i did the video... i had a mage character that could not use the sword (strength level 2 required)

I really liked puzzles like that in Dark Messiah and hope we see more of them in a sequel some time. Also nice music, it really fit in with what was going on.

Well, I used Fraps, it is a nice program to record in-game (it is also usefull since it tell you your FPS). Unfortunately, to record more than 30 seconds you will need to register your version of Fraps...

where do you find the bar to make the sword? Im at this area in chapter 5 level where you activate the elevator and then theres theres a forge at the end of the tunnel.
