This is a terrific performance by Lennon, makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! "The Statue of Liberty said come" - right on bruv, a lot of people have probably forgotten what a hard time the USA authorities gave him in his quest for residency there. Yoko was a complete nonsense as a 'musician', as is clearly shown here!

I agree with the sentiments here. Lennon was my favorite Beatle and I like this solo effort the best. However, with that said, I can't stand Yoko Ono. She was and still is an irrelevant, insignificant, no talent piece of garbage. I never understood what Lennon saw in her and he why he had to impose her on the public. This was a great video, except for Yoko. She didn't belong there and has no business being on stage with great musicians. I really dislike that woman.

If you will remember, one of Lennon's complaints was that, in the later years, Paul's songs were A-sides and his were B-sides. Gee, I wonder why? Lennon's songwriting was greatly impacted by Ono. When I lived in NYC, I met David Peel. He was truly weird...and truly cool. There was no phoniness to him... We hung out across the street from the Dakota and sang songs with me and my girlfriend. He needed some money, so I gave him some, and in return, he gave me his little white guitar. That was very touching, but I gave it back to him a week or so later because he needed it and I didn't. I just told him to think peace to pay me back for the money...

Exactly, we all know she is not a model, but that´s what´s great about it, he really love her for WHO SHE WAS, he really had bollocks and didn´t listened to what people said, he didn´t care, and that´s the way John was..
