IE has had tabbed browsing much longer than IE, and IE loads a new page every time you open a new tab, slowing it down. Favorites: Firefox lets you bookmark a page simply by clicking a star! IE opens the source in a notepad window, whereas firefox opens it in its own browser, where the HTML syntax is highlighted. Toolbars are the same with FF.
Adjust the view, clickable plus sign to add to your favorites.
Etc. Etc. Etc. Yadda Yadda.......
The ONLY real advantage for using Firefox over IE, as I can tell, is that less viruses are written to attack it. But as it's popularity grows, more hackers will exploit it also.
I use both browsers. Truth is, I prefer IE.
From the keyboard shortcuts to
the tabbed browsing. IE +1
The ease of personalizing my links and organizing my favorites. IE +1
Viewing source if I must. A mere right click/view source. IE +1
Arranging toolbars and the icons. IE +1
I simply find it easier to use. Peace.

It's simply my opinion.
Try as you might. You won't sway me. :)
Adjust the preferences, no more new page.
Adjust the view, clickable plus sign to add to your favorites.

No doubt, for now, it's certainly more secure. Faster? We just got 6Mbs download and our IE is rocking. So is Firefox.

If I were a rich man, I would sign up for their 16.0Mbps. Although at what point is it fast enough? So far, I'm happy with this speed.
Peace.
