I've recently been told to listen to Boards: until now I've only really been a Aphex and Prefuse fan when it comes to Warp Records, but this is just fantastic. Thanks for the conversion.
Hey, absolutely! Aphex and Prefuse 73 are really good if you're looking for grooves in your songs--if you enjoy that I'd definitely listen to this album (The Campfire Headphase) and "Music Has the Right to Children". Geogaddi is hard to get into until you've heard the rest of their material, but it's also the most lovable after you've really grasped the concept.
I swear man, Only my ex loves BOC like I do. None of my friends are into them.lol. I have bought every album possible. P2P Programs have allowed me to acquire older tracks that I would otherwise not have. As well as youtube. I've reversed so many tracks too. I'll upload the ones that I don't see on here. My favorites reversed that I haven't found on youtube and will upload are "The Beach at Redpoint, Poppyseed reprise, and Peacock Tail. Respect for the uploads..
Yeah, I think I've finally gotten to the point where I've got all of their material that's known to be real, including a few legitimate tracks from "Closes Vol. 1" and samples of real songs from their older EPs, though unfortunately that means there's still a lot more to discover. Which is a problem since nothing has surfaced yet :/
At the beginning it fades in at 0:14 with adults talking at Wal-Mart store looking for clothes with a piano and synthesizers playing until 1:16 with people at Wal-Mart store. Then at 1:19 the actual song starts with electronic beeping sounds and synthesizers and banjos and drums and at 1:49 Becky Anderson talks backwards on CNN News about poor and hungry people in Africa with electronic sounds
OMG LISTEN TO BOC "Satellite Anthem Icarus" IN REVERSE!
